Compress the goddamn audio, if you're a hardcore audiophile then buy the PS3 version.
It only needs Blu-ray because Hideo pushed for uncompressed audio files.
MGS4 on 360 would cause a lot more heart ache than FF13, but wouldn't make a difference to me, so /care.

The monster? it looks damn cool, but the "boss fight" looks boring and very unfinished.

It's all about choice, you don't have to make an Avatar of yourself if you don't want to, you can still use gamerpics or a picture of yourself.
Installing games is crap? YES IF YOU "HAVE" TO. On the 360 you have choice, I like choice as any person does. Being forced to do something ain't gonna agree with everyone.
I personally don't mind the Avatar's, if the customization is deep which it appears to be, I'll probably join in, because why not? More fun for e...
It's not exactly the most beautiful breathtaking game ever. The textures can be so flat and dull in places, the animation is some of the very best but that doesn't mean they 360 isn't powerful enough. Hell the Wii could do those animations.
Size wise? The devs wanted UNCOMPRESSED audio, simply pleasing audiophiles. Compress it down right and you have pretty much the same game on a different platform.
In Halo 3's 4 player coop you'll struggle to get kills if your buddies are good enough, imagine Gears 2 like that!

There's nothing wrong with liking another console, it boils down to personal preference. I myself own a Wii and an Xbox 360, the Wii gathers dust I feel like selling it, simply because I've only bought games for the 360 and the novelty wore off for the Wii.

They look exactly the same, except the 360 appears more vibrant which could be dependent on the video settings.
