Eek, get a real band to play with, Nine Inch Nails much? :)
Read what I said. They took a different approach, not copy and paste the idea into the PS3.
Saying they "copied" it might seem a little harsh, but since Sony is giving PS3 owners what they want, they probably want an achievement or reward based system like the Xbox 360 does!
Bubbles for you!
Can be clunky at times, especially my first 360's controller, down button rarely worked lol!
My Elite controller makes a very distinct "click" but always works fine, without the click it would be perfection.
It's probably ONE of the best controllers ever made, Microsoft hit the nail on the head with the design of the 360's controller.
I like how they introduced trophies, I prefer the idea of achievements and Gamerscore but atleast Sony took a different approach to it.
Sounds pretty ironic!
Halo 3 was what I wanted it to be, some of the best organised community linked Multiplayer gaming to be had, and wrap up the story one way or another. I would have liked to see some more missions but oh well.
So tell me then, Killzone 2 gonna break the trend by having less features, worse graphics?
Killzone avatar I see, that turned out just brilliant now didn't it? hmmph
but with the amount of hype and huge expectation, none will give it a chance and most reviewers will pass it off as crap.
Gears 1 was quite different from the preview I saw in 2005.
Games never look as godly as they do in screenshots. But you guys are forgetting one thing, IT'S NOT DONE!
Developers tend to touch the graphics up when, you know, the core gameplay and everything is ready and working?
Gears does look better in motion, from the countless games I've played I can tell you that.
If Microsoft introduce a new style of Dashboard, I would hope you could revert to the old one if you want, that would give you more choice, just like how you can customize the dashboard theme, colors etc.
I'm up for a change, but I'd like the option to revert back and forth if need be!
If they rock your boat that's fair enough. Resistance is a good run and gun fps, but I didn't enjoy it that much in coop, neither did my mate who once seen it as "godly".
It would be worth picking up a 360 with the new Jasper chips, and a Wii is good if you've people over often. But if you don't mind spending £180 and watching it collect dust in less than a year that's up to you!
Considering you and many other peeps bring other games unrelated to the article I'll join the bandwagon,
Possible Blockbusters?
Oh my, Resistance 1 wasn't much of a blockbuster, per say it needs to be more of a boredom buster? because the first was bloody boring at times.
What exactly interests you then? things that have Sony labeled over them?
Am I a cool kid now?
Maybe it's the environment you live in, or your country's weather.
My 360 died when I had it in a cramped space, that was with it running most of the day downloading and my computer which can also output a hell of a lot of heat, a year and a half was pretty good like that.
My new one is much more spaced out, so much heat doesn't build up. You best get a fan and keep it going most of the day and open the window and door.
I know 360's will die eventually, ...
Free "Forever", so like the Halo 2 maps which are free now and "forever". Forever being the key word.
The Legendary Map pack won't be free any time soon, Bungie said it will "never" be free but that's unlikely, a price drop was a good idea.
It's quieter than my Halo 3 Edition console *which was a lot quieter than my first gen Premium* and it's also very cool. Doesn't really heat up until it's been on for AGES!
I don't know anyone who just gets RROD'd for no reason. Ventilate your damn console idiots.
Sony are publishers, they publish the game Guerrilla Games are the DEVELOPERS!
Sony would want the game to be very polished and show off the PS3's "limitless potential" they cry about all the time. I'm having my doubts to be honest, Even if it's out next year, time doesn't make a game perfect.
Too Human for example, in and out of development for a decade nearly. How many years they've worked on the 360, on one specific engine I don't quite know. It looks li...
I like the flood pure form in the chamber, from the way it moves around making you think it could burst out *that would be kickass* till the monitor following your movement with a light that can be distracting!
Having a special playlist in which 7 people can party up and kick eachothers ass for Double XP is awesome!
Well done Bungie!
amirite Angelitos?
"waits for hilarious auto reply" key words *Poor* *Xbot* *Shroomy*
"a teammates character model in killzone2 has about the same amount of polygons as a whole level in killzone1."
That seems like a waste, looking at those screens granted the models are very nice, but the environment and tanks? not so much!
