I'm sick of everyone playing nothing but Call Of Duty 4, I deleted a lot of friends because it was the only game they had, it's hugely overrated because it's so easy to play, they can't bare the fact that Halo isn't 1-3 hit kills with an SMG, they lack the paitence and skill to play it!
Before you say I'm crap at COD4, I'd average over 30 kills every game, even with the lag.
Halo is fine and perfectly balanced for upwards of 8-16 players, while Gears is apparently better with 5v5 people.
It was amazing for me in 2005 to play BF2 on the PC with 63 other people, my computer was dying as the chaos ravaged on but I was in awe, as I literally mowed down streets filled with the enemy!

really, Half Life wouldn't interest me & a lot of other people if it was so drab and dark, doesn't suit the style of the game.
Half Life 2 looks fine as it is, Source is an old engine now but they keep pushing new features into it.

I'm sure you think VALVe should have took more responsibility for the mess that was Orange Box PS3, and I hate EA myself for destroying many great studios "Westwood for example".
But Epic? they made a great new IP on their Engine and everyone give em flack for it? and it sold like 5 million or something? I don't understand!

The only work they would have done on the PS3 version is sending the Source Engine to the EA studios that developed it.
VALVe are mainly PC developers, "see Half Life, TF2" and the 360 is very similar to a PC when developing it, meaning porting it over isn't gonna require an extreme amount of effort, unlike the PS3 version.
I can see it as, VALVe did not like the technology, and did not see a huge potential for profit on the PS3, so they thought lets polish...
You have to be joking, Resistance was a glorified PS2 FPS with shiny graphics, nothing special.
Halo 1 alone was a lot more fun than Resistance. Maybe Resistance 2 will bring something worthy to the table.
I know a lot of people who did! so it will probably sell pretty good, despite all this negative media attention.
