I doubt Live will be free in the near future, but a price drop is certain!
People seem to forget that Games For Windows is free now, and that's why ShadowRun "meh", Universe at War and Lost Planet work.
There are very few cross platform games, I don't see them increasing in popularity any time soon!
More parallax mapping, and light rays that when shined through trees would look great, but the latter feature was in Halo 1!
Crysis looks spectactular on High as it is, and as soon as the community gets it's hands on Crysis, a few tweaks in the config and bam, DX10 baby!
Lets not improve on something that was good, hell lets ban Sequels altogether!
EA/VALVE were pretty damn lazy with The Orange Box, it's a fantastic game on a good PC, where I think if It had stayed it would have saved a lot of hassle for everyone.
Source is seriously outdated, the fact I heard the 360 version of the orange box was running 95-98% of the 360's full power is bullshit. I'd stick to playing Valve games on the PC, where they truly shine!
Aslong as they don't follow Alienware, paying mainly for the name and not the parts inside.
Building your own computer will always be the best option, and it's not hard at all, Youtube will show you that.
Remember Crysis has huge island maps with destructible environments, and I doubt Killzone 2 will managae that, and I hope the developers show off something new, other than that dark grey map.
Sounds like someone got angry when his computer exploded! :P
Crysis is a solid shooting game, the graphics are fantastic obviously, the nano suit helps in giving you a choice how you play the game, and the opportunities in the Sandbox editor are near limitless!
Attention whore wants more attention, don't give him any and he'll learn to shut up.
The 360 is an exception, due to the rush of Microsoft, they ignored a fatal flaw and payed "1 billion" for it!
PS2's were no better, me and a lot of my friends died rather quickly, and we took good care of them. Electrical components aren't perfect, computer parts for example can unexpectedly die, so why is it Consoles have to be perfection? there is no such thing!
Ok, 3 or 4 is understandable, but unless Microsoft are shipping him Launch 360's, he's obviously doing something wrong, or lives in a sauna.
The advertisements really gave you the sense of how humanity struggled, in the game you never see marines in such desperation, they'd just die! :P
It would be a much stronger looking story if emotion was strongly conveyed in it, sadly not.
Quite a large one at that.
It's simply news,
"Now don't take all these data as if they were written in stone - most of the data, while empirical, has been highly depended on the early engineering samples provided to several reputable review sites. Many believe that the final version might sport a few adjustments, and that is subject to review. More updates on the bleeding edge of technology as we get them."
Well done, but yeah ATi are really taking it to Nvidia, these X2 cards are in...
Give up EA, you are like a spoiled little b*tch that has to have EVERYTHING and it won't stop till it does.
You never have a fixed connection, no matter how fast and the people I know always seem to disconnect after so long!
Wireless HDTV's would be amazing, but somehow I don't see it for years to come.
Fable 2 is an Action RPG, you are comparing that to EVERY genre on the PS3's exclusive library?
MGS4 better than Mass Effect? you can argue that all you want, but they are both quite different games.
If what Bungie was going to show, would "blow away" the competition as some people have said, they now have more time to polish that, and they could make it even better!
Patience, if you can wait for Xmas you can wait for Bungie's announcement, it will come in time! :D
It's a shame it hasn't changed the MP3 player market at all really, because it's dominated by a trend "iPod".
A Zune phone, coupled with great gaming abilities could very well be Microsoft's answer to both the PSP, DS and the iPhone. I would really like to see Microsoft do that!
It would be interesting to see people experiment around with it, achieving some really awesome and unique lighting effects that could be shared with everyone!
I liked the presets in Gears 1, but I thought they should have kept that in from seeing Beta footage! Who knows Gears 2 might have it! :D The lighting looks great anyway it won't matter too much.
Because that is perfectly normal and acceptable! :)
