Honestly you just sound like a jealous troll. I've noticed you trolling PC articles before. What's you problem with 120fps gaming?
How does that logic even work? If anything PC's are more sociable devices.
That's a pretty immature comment. You don't understand the issue at hand yet call Steam to be shut down.. Lol..
Why would you want to shut down Steam? You do realise you can still buy physical copies of games, it's just that most users consider discs antiquicated - which they are.
Sounds like you like the smell of your own farts and have actually never gamed on a gaming PC.
Great comments and so true. Competition is great. What a sad day it is when we see such a comment get so many disagrees.
@Angeljuice
Wrong, the majority of PC owners can't play games.
But the vast majority of people with gaming PC's easily run 1080p @ 60fps.
Honestly it remains to be seen how good the PS4 VR will actually be. I must admit it will be a true innovation if they can do something to increase the framerate to an acceptable level for their version of VR.
Right now it's looking like they are doing some kind of post processing image interleaving /motion smoothing which is likely to come with nasty input lag.
True, and the title is very misleading.
In reality, for PC people already play 60fps @ 1080p they'd ideally want a 90 - 120fps increase which is only a doubling at worst case.
@ hvd222
Honestly I wouldn't know. From what I gather most people play 1080p (60hz and 144hz) through a monitor or TV (60hz). Then there are quite a few people on 1440p (60hz and 144hz). Then the growing minority of people on 4k (60hz).
In my circle most most people play outputted to their TVs and a couple have 4k monitors.
You're right in that it's hard to gudge from Steam surveys. There's not even an option to choose what hz screen you use. For example I use 1080p but my monitor is 144hz.
Then there is people who simply don't care to answer.
That's weird. Mine works..?
Yes you got a salty 2 disagree's.. haha.. gotta love N4G cheerleaders
@ moldybread
Yeah the face buttons took a long time to get used to. In GTA5 I kept on jumping out of cars and helicopters like a goofer all the time instead of changing weapons lol.
What you need to do is really embrace those extra two paddles on the back of the controller. They're so beautifully positioned.
With 3rd person games, I'd recommend using the trackball mode for the camera. I'd also make Y and B your main attacks. X and A are simply too ...
Sounds like something a virgin would say.
Lets add to that, free group chat, achievements, card trading for money and super fast servers to download from. Lets also not forget.. cheap a hell sales.
On the Valve making games note. Does it really matter right now? Valve never released a flop or a game for the sake of it. In due time they'll release a knock-out when they're good and ready.
Then there's the Steam controller, absolutely frustrating to get used to - probably the most under appr...
It's always the know-it-alls playing the tin foil hat card instead of learning. How do you think MS make money off giving out free copies? Did you think it's because they love you? How about when it switches data collection back on after big updates.
And you believe it's just for Cortana. How cute.
I also think Dying Light on PC max settings looks amazing. It's one of the best games of 2015 too.
I haven't been too impressed my graphics this year. I think Until Dawn looked great. The Order looked great. Witcher on PC looked awesome too. Hard to call a winner if we're also taking scale of game into consideration too.
Lol guess you never played Project Cars on PC then.
And you're trying to play the fanboy card!
Yep.. As @rainslacker mentioned Moore's law refers to transistors.
Plus a single Nvidia Titan X won't do 4k unless it's an generally older titles, but not in modern games.
I should know. Titan X SLI will likely get you to 60 fps max setting in a modern game.
But for those who like 144hz/fps monitors could care less. 60fps @ 4k isn't enough frames. 144 is where it's at.
Ummm this search found it for $32.09 at G2Play
