It would probably be a good game with 5 friends you know rotating and all in chat. But random rooms no thanks. 90% off I'd buy.
The benefits of DX12 that I'm more excited about is CPU efficiency. It's about time they start spreading out using all the extra cores PC users have properly. These games are already GPU bound so expecting magical improvements isn't going to happen. Just extra eye candy that's limited to dx12.
For a game to really benefit dx12 it has to be written from the ground up rather than an afterthought. It needs to have the world's complexity and physics actually designed...
What a sad existence one must have to do that.
Bully unfortunately hasn't aged very gracefully. I played it recently on Steam and it was fun but temper your expectations with the visuals.
Me too
Could be you just have low standards.
Don't shoot the messenger.
Yeah 1% of all PCs. I have a second PC tablet which certainly isn't for gaming which would count towards that inaccurate number. I have an PC at my office too - you guessed it, not for gaming.
Steam survey is more telling has 10% of users owning a 970 which is the recommended spec. Then there is the people who exceed that or use AMD cards.
Then you've got to factor in people who simply don't use Steam or participate in their surveys.
Not ...
Calling your fanboyism out.
Vive sold out its first round of pre-orders in the first 10 minutes.

Stick to the facts, don't be a douch and make sh#t up
AW.. So the 30fps filmic thing was BS after all. Well there you have it.
I don't see any salt from anyone to be honest. Why would people be salty about having choice?
Price, quality of the experience and value for money is what interests me. I'm yet to try all 3.
I'll probably pick up a PSVR if it's forward compatible, otherwise probably the rift.
Well he's right. It isn't an apples to apples comparison if a bundle is being compared to a base config. That's factual.
This price wouldn't be too difficult if we could do a unbiased comparison.
@ Lore
You realise you don't have to attack people for having a different view right?!
What an exciting world we have if we all thought the same!? Try and leave fanboyism emotions out of it.
Well said. People act as if they own shares in these companies. I like when consumers win.
Yeah nah
I've had flooding.
Fantastic game. It's everything Sim City should have been. Only problem is this game is TOO ADDICTIVE
I love how suddenly the fanboys are changing their tune acting all 'of course it's not as good as a $5000 pc'.
Ahh the goal moving is incredible. I mean a console that's library of games mostly pegged at 30fps is suddenly going to get 120fps in VR without any loss in quality?
No one points to the big elephant in the room which is input lag of having an external box interpolate frames to this extent. It even sucks doing it with movies, let a...
@BitbyDeath
3DS.. Now take that hat off
You bought Windows 10?
Being locked into 60fps is exactly the opposite of what PCMR stands for. Frame rates shouldn't be locked at all. Yes 60fps is nice but who with a 144hz panel wants to be locked into 60fps ? Not me
