Most Nintendo games are 60fps though. Hence why most of their flagship games have addictive gameplay.

It didn't budge of 60fps for me the whole time. Using a 980ti and 5820k @ 4.4 for what it's worth.
The graphics wasn't that impressive and being limited to 60fps on a 144hz monitor is BS.
Gameplay was good though.

I agree with most of what you said - competition is what makes PC great and we all like to shop around. Most of the good old PC gamers enjoy competition, and while they like Steam, they stop short of the sad Gaben worship.
However, where I disagree, Steam isn't a "walled garden" in the same way UWP is. UWP asks users to commit to only Windows 10, be happy with only 60fps, not mod games.
That's a good takeaway for me since Unreal has great gameplay. I've downloaded the beta but haven't had a chance to play.
Like you thought, the campaign is what I want to see.

I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'll buy whatever is necessary to play Forza. Fortunately this time I've got a killer PC. Hopefully it's VR compatible. Do you know if it is?
