That's why they're in a pretty good position. They will say: Buy the Xbox X then, it plays all the same games!

There, problem solved. The interesting question to me is will their competitor be able to provide a big enough leap over the X for the asking price?

I expect PS5 to go for 4k/60 just like the next Xbox. MS isn't making money off the X for $450 right now. So what kind of leap can be accomplished in the near future at a good price? ...

I knew Reggie was a double agent for MS!!

So you're saying it's not Sony's business to be developer and gamer-forward?

I would like to think it is finally more people pushing for something that benefits gamers and devs alike.

But the fact is, no one is immune from the angry internet. Fortnite is the hottest game on the planet right now. Something like 2 million Switch downloads in day 1. If you think people will just let this one pass...well you have your answer.

I agree that Metro doesn't have a huge following, even though it's a great series that should get more sales. That's why they should move Metro. Although they will run up against Division 2 in March, so I'm not sure where it'll fall.

You're underestimating the advertising push that Anthem will get to the masses. It will be everywhere. Most gamers are going to see Destiny meets Ironman and be sold.

Days Gone is already being critic...

You've got Anthem and Metro that same day. Meta critic won't help DG from taking a big hit. They should move it. I suspect Metro might slip, though (also smart).

4 if you count Battletoads.

Perfect Switch game. I definitely recommend it, as well.

Then you should be pleased with The Initiative, no?

They should be creating AND buying studios. After all, that is what led Sony to the top. Looks like they're on the right track.

I'm not expecting much more for 2018 from Sony other than Spiderman, though. Do you really expect more?

Forza, Spiderman, and Smash plus Red Dead, Tomb Raider, Fallout, BFV, and so many others shows me that MS, Sony, and Nintendo would be wise to focus on 2019 instead, which it looks like they're doing.

It didn't get much attention, but I've also got high hopes for Ashen, too. It's my sleeper pick for indie of the year.

It says 9:00 pm on 6/9. Today is the 10th. If someone has another link, I'd appreciate it.

The hands on impressions have all seemed very positive. Obviously we'll all have to wait for final verdict, but I'm happy with what we're hearing and seeing.

It's not good that some overhype games, but constant cynicism is getting just as tiring.

I'm guessing the links are old? I'm only seeing the $50 sale.

All the links are saying $449.

This isn't their streaming program (yet). I expect an EA Access Premiere to be announced very soon, too.

Full titles to download, vault access, and day one releases. Not bad if you plan to buy 2 EA games a year. I suspect members will get access to the streaming service, too.

Of course if you buy all your games from the bargain bin this might not be for you.

It was a bit boring, but overall pretty average. Anthem looks good.

Really, you can just go back to last year's EA show to find worse.

I would wonder wtf you're doing here.

2814d ago 26 agree2 disagreeView comment

Exactly. Some will continue to argue against consumer interests rather than considering casting their favorite corporation in a negative light.

This most benefits multiplat devs and consumers. So why are some so keen to defend this petty corporate BS?

2815d ago 2 agree1 disagreeView comment

Perfect. No need to check the sites. I will trust you 100%.

So let's see everything we've established:

There isn't a large consumer demand for this feature. Agreed. Therefore, any business impact would be quite minimal (both negative and positive). Any negative impact felt by Sony could easily be negated by the simple PR statements I already pointed out. So with that established, what else do we have?

Maybe there's not e...

Capcom will go to the highest bidder, unfortunately. With that said, I don't think DMC5 exclusivity is worth a heavy investment from anyone.
