Did you read this? It's just more fanboyism. It's poorly written, bad grammar, and ultimately is just a blogger's rambling about how an article designed to trigger them ultimately triggered them.
If that's what you want to see on this site, I'm going to have to disagree with you.
The first article was crap and so is this. Neither is "journalism."
The other article was another "wishlist" opinion piece that only acts to say: "these are good games on system x that players on system y should want." All that does is trigger the same old fanboy fanatics. To take it further, they put "should" in the title, further triggering the fanatics.
This article is just more fanboy blogging. That other article didn't deserve any attention, let alone a response.
Click click click. ...
The response to a clickbait article shouldn't be another clickbait article.
The reason devs group gamers together in these types of outbursts is because too many of us are complacent in letting the assholes run wild.
Human nature doesn't mean people are designed to be a little prick on social media. If we collectively can't solve that problem, then we're doomed as a species.
The whole "deal with it" attitude is bullshit. Grow some thicker skin and stop letting these types of people represent our community. ...
Of course its growth is measured against itself. That's kind of how these things work. It's an earnings report...no need for the rant.
Hopefully they see their success as something to build on. Look at the good things leading to growth, look at their competitor's successes, and strive to grow even more by incorporating their competitor's successful moves into their own strategies. Pretty simple on paper.
But, no, it makes zero sense to re...
Nah, I think the better solution is for people to stop acting like assholes.
Find another profession? Really?
The EA settlement is the telling piece. There's apparently enough there to keep the suits alive for a bit, but we're talking about lighting tech from early to mid 2000s. So every EA game in recent memory along with every MS game is utilizing this tech? PUBg is also included, which seemed odd.
I don't know. Seems like they're casting a really wide net, but have a bit of substance to get a few $$ in settlement.
BTW, I think Eonjay is just an...
When was Morrowind on PS3??
So your working theory is that they're paying "no name" sites with minimal web traffic to promote their product to a few hundred viewers at best?
This is the website that posts file sizes for upcoming games. Nothing against the people running the site (they don't resort to click bait fanboy war stuff), but you seriously think this is the platform MS will moneyhat to promote BC?
I don't necessarily disagree, but that's not what this article is about. They want MS to acknowledge the problem of hackers on PC ruining games for everyone, really, but especially now with cross play on consoles.
Personally I will always be a big supporter of PC, but these types of issues were what drove me back to consoles years ago. Cross play with PC opens up new challenges that need addressed, and pubs do need to step up and ensure nobody's experience is ru...
These are decent predictions, even though I doubt many of them will happen. I always enjoy the speculation.
But "Mario Kart Tease" seems really...odd.
Or it's just some guy talking with Rare about some old shorts he found. Come on, guys...
So it doesn't look like it would have much effect on console sales. I agree 100%.
So what were those business reasons against allowing it again?
I don't think it's strange that we've finally received more choices in a generation, but it's going to be interesting when next gen hits. Do you immediately buy into next gen, or do you wait a few years to see if we get an upgraded system again?
If scalable software is the norm, I might hold off a bit.
I'm predicting PS5 in 2020, Xbox Next in 2021, and Switch 2 in 2022. Does Sony release a PS5 Pro in 2023? Is it worth it to wait? If ...
And the Nintendo part? Is their good relationship with Nintendo an "agreement" orchestrated by MS, too?
Sounds like it'll eventually come to PS4, but they wanted to hedge their bets with cross play to start. Focus on one online system, get all players into the same pool, and build from there. Indies are seeing good success on Switch, they have experience with Xbox, and those two consoles are OK with cross console play.
If successful, I'd...
The perspective looks the same, and has been discussed by the dev a few times now. They used the perspective and zoom as a way to show the scale of the world. What videos have you seen?
The darkness was always there too, but we had not previously seen much of the deeper underground areas (the "below").
Also, they've said it's only timed exclusive since 2013. They've been set to self publish through id@xbox since MS finally changed th...
Keep thinking about it. You'll get there eventually.
Here, I'll help you: No, I do not believe releasing a few classic OG Xbox games is designed to move millions of consoles.
It's a small investment targeted at getting some goodwill from fans.
I believe "fans" are the one group where it actually does matter. It's not a large group, but that says something in and of itself.
It won't cause them to suddenly sell millions of consoles, but that's obviously not the goal.
Syndicate was good. There is some clumsiness to some parts of it, but it is a big improvement over Unity and AC3.
It did take a bit of time to get going, so be a little patient at first.
Some aim to deserve your clicks, others manipulate to get them. I would prefer we all agree that the latter shouldn't keep getting so much promotion around here.
