What sony made for the ps1 was a waterdown ps1 dev kit. This is completely different. This works on your home pc and the games can then be played on your home xbox 360 (no need for dev kits)

What the hell are you talking about. Sony had a "consumer" dev kit for the ps1 and thats all, it failed because it cost $800 of the dev kit and all you did was make games for yourself could not share games. With XNA you use your own PC to make xbox 360 games and it all free. If you want to publish your xbox 360 game then that cost $99 for 1 year membership and you get support for microsoft for using XNA. You can also share your games over xbox live marketplace.

This guy is so biased. He claims that unified shader/vector are not the future since no companies use it. Well true because the technology is new, same as saying no company will ever use cell because no one has it now.

The mod for the xbox 360 is only for the DVD rom. You put a duel firmware ship on the DVD drive therefore allowing it to skip the copy right check on the disc. However there is no mod to actually install on the xbox 360 and do homebrew stuff. So the core security of the xbox 360 is still together. Also no one has any idea what microsoft would do to the modded xbox 360 on xbox live.

I hope microsoft announces the Platinum Hits for the xbox 360. If they do, it's over come this chrismas for sony. Come on 4 platinum xbox 360 games for the price of 1 ps3 game.

Do I use these guys to open special doors or something that have the items inside?

Trust me it will still be here in 5 years. Imagine it or not not everyone is connected to the internet. Microsoft already has it's online business set-up and arcade games can pretty much only be bought online on xbox live.

What are you talking about I fully see the xbox 360 logo on that picture. Do you mean Playstation not announced?

I did the same person. I asked them why do you stick with the playstation line/why do you think the ps3 is better. Well the responce I got showed me that sony is heavy relied on the causal crowd to get the majority of sales. This was the responce I got. Reason #1- Cell, Reason #2- RSX Reason #3- Gameplay video for E3 2005 (CG). So I asked him what the cell was, reply was don't know, I asked what the RSX was, reply was don't know. So I was like, so why do you think they are positive aspects of...

So thats what the spitfire drink does. And I never knew there was a uzi. Time to go back to the demo.

7126d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well this is what usually happens. The whole team works on getting the game done. Then a few members break off to try to make a demo while the rest of the team polishes the game (remove bugs, glitches, fix framerate, etc). The framerate and bugs are usually gone in the retail copy, the point of a demo is to give you an idea of how the game is played.

Well if the console is off then the "X" (guide button) turns on the system. If the system is on then the "X" button brings up the guide. From that you can see your friends list, music playlist, adjust volume, check your downloads (progress), change personal settings, send messages (Voice/Text/Pictures) and some other functions that I can't remember.

First party games are $49.99. This game is made by a third party developer (EPIC) but is published by Microsoft Game Studios. This game also has a major budget like the Halo games. However since the halo developer (Bungie) is owned by Microsoft it can be $49.99.

Great video, all those games are AAA big budget titles and all are xbox 360 exclusives. They missed out other exclusives like Too Human, Saints Row, Nighty Nine Nights. And also the AAA titles that are already out like Chromehounds, DOA 4 and PDZ. And lets not forget some multiplatform games that are also out like Oblivion, GRAW, COD 2 and Final Fantasy 11

Microsoft has put in measures to help prevent abuse. Like Child xbox live accounts can't use the camera unless their parent authories it and even then the parent has control over which friends their child can have a video conference with. Also I see alot of parents picking this up so they can have video chats with relatives that are overseas. All you do is pay for the xbox live gold membership ($50 a year) and now you can have unlimited overseas calls and with video. Telephone companies are g...

The physics is what really drives this game and also the visuals. Throw a pipe bomb into a car and watch it blow into a million pieces with each piece having it's own vector. If a piece hits you, you will move according to the weight of the object. (A flaming bumper will send you flying and on fire, a wheel cap will simply nudge you or maybe knock you down)

Every major console (i.e ps2, xbox, xbox 360, psp) has had some shortage at launch. This is no indication of demand. Demand is judge 5 months later, psp was huge in the first few months then it just faded away.
