If you don't want HD-DVD and a upgradeable harddrive then don't buy one. Also if microsoft included the HD-DVD drive they would be in the same position right now as Sony and I doubt microsoft would want that.

Gametime, aren't you doing the samething considering the ps3 is not even out yet. Here's is another fact, a raw game is huge. I remember Moto GP 2006 for xbox 360 was over 20GB raw file size. What this means is it's a package of all the game files (video, models, audio, text, physics, game engine), this is highly ineffecent and no console could run it at this state. Don't you find it weird that we are only 3 months from launch and sony still can't fit it into a ps3 shell. This time last year microsoft had the dev kits in the actual xbox 360 cases (Black/Grey xbox 360s)

You got to admit, microsoft did the xbox 360 right. The sales data speak for themselves, record attach rates that no other console maker has acheived. This is more signifiant that sony's 100 million consoles. What's the use of having a high number of console if most of the owners would ever buy 2 games in their console lifetime (GTA and probably some kind of EA sports game).
Its a full exclusive like Dead Rising.
This is what they said before xbox 1 was released, they said would microsoft take any of sony's share. Guess what on their first console xbox 1 they had like 25%, now with the xbox 360 it looks like they are going to have equal share with sony, no analyst ever predicted in 1999/2000 that microsoft would threaten sonys existance in console gaming in only 5 years. I wonder how the next generation will play.

The Xeon processor is a triple core hyper threaded processor similar to the ones found in the Power Macs, however the xeon has 3 cores, dual threaded and runs at a cool 3.2Ghz. The cell is pretty new and noone is actually using it yet, it still needs testing all sony said was it can be used by the military and medical work but it hasnt yet.

Xbox 360 harddrive are not standard 3.5 inch drives. They are the smaller 2.5 inch drives that are found in most laptops.
