Crackdown is purely fun, you see a tall building you might spend 30 minutes trying to climb it to see whats up there. The acheivments are fun to like keeping someone in the air for 10 seconds using explosives or doing 2 front flips in a car. All I say is you have to play it to understand what im talking about.

I have the game and it's honestly is addictive, the city is so incredibly detailed. I think what he is talking about is how you approach the missions, to probably freshen it for the squel.
My question is why? why spend billions making something different when they could have went with something similar to the xbox 360 and end up with similar power and have it more developer friendly.

Heres whats happening, they are offloading stock to make way for a new revision (maybe a colour, zypher, or maybe its just a company wide sale like with amazons $100 xbox 360 cores during christmas). You know kinda like how all ipods magically go on sale right before steve jobs introduces a new ipod with a brighter screen or bigger harddrive.
Most likely its to make way for a new bundle, like a gears of war bundle or a forza 2 bundle. Makes sense right? black xbox 360 + gears ...
Killzone...not really its a playstation title. If it was coming out on xbox 360 then ya for sure it would suffer but its not. I really think microsoft should push Halo 3 to atleast the middle of november so other developers can ship their games in october and early november without the hype of halo 3 bogging down other game sales.
GTA 4 will have that Jack character trying to shut down rockstar, so they get free publicity from that and Halo 3 will have microsofts PR and viral ads worki...
OMG microsoft came out with a new colour...whats the big deal. Why is everyone so worked up about this....ok so HDMI is included. The ps2 slim had a built in ethernet port opposed to the regular one and people were fine with that. How about from DS to DS lite, no problem there.
Rumble is critical for racing games, without it how would you feel the car. I know it sounds cheesy by rumble lets you in on your engines RPM and when to shift. Also clues you in on your tire slippage when you drift and what not.
Grand Turismo is for playstation 3 so how would that even affect Forza 2 which is for the xbox 360. Oh and the screen shots look beautful by the way, can't wait to see it in motion at home. Come on Demo.

Well it is, when the xbox and gamecube launch it was pretty much known that the ps2 would be dominant with the xbox and gamecube being relatively close in sales. The xbox 360 right now has the same strength against the competition that the ps2 had after the xbox and gamecube launched.

Grow up child, its done to refresh a product, we all know the xbox 360 as an offshell white, now by introducing more colours it brings back attention. I remember the original xbox was also offered in green, blue and crystal.
550 mill in sales but remember it costs much more to build the system so around 750 million lost from building systems add to that advertising, psn charges, shipping and so on.
