I live in Canada, be happy to keep you all updated on how things go around here, I started seeing ps3 in stores right after christmas, also note that they only sell the 60GB here now so $700 it is to get a ps3 here, compared to $500 for the xbox 360 premium. Also note the xbox 360 games are cheaper with new games ranging from $50 to $70.
These are real world tracks btw, plus grand turimo did have alot of tracks however alot were crap and they included reverse and different iterations of the same track to boast the count. Its the quality not the quantity.
True but both sony and microsoft have brand awareness so who knows what will happen. The first step is getting everyone thats willing spend $400 onboard which microsoft got 10 million of, now they need to lower the price to get the fense sitters onboard. This sucks for sony since when sony finally goes down, microsoft would have already been in that price area and taken that market.
Priorities, Priorities, Priorities.......
Wheres the love in Canada. I know I can rent these but Im lazy and want HD.
I dont want to call you an idiot, but there are NO tvs even capable of HDMI 1.3. Simply put both the ps3 and xbox 360 have more than enough horsepower to output 1080p video, all this extra power gives a great picture. Stop bending over for sony, we are all gamers here. HDMI 1.3 is fully justifiable since alot of the TrueHD audio specs were ommited from blu-ray standards to get the format ready in time, HDMI 1.3 allows that audio to be sent and be processed by the receiver
Just Cause was fun, and the visuals were really good (made far cry look like gloomy field)
"Sony bought Guerilla and pumps tons of money in that game. They ain't doing it without a reason and as history showed"
Exactly, when sony puts there money in it they always win....lets see Beta max, MiniDisc, Atrac, Memory Stick, Sony Connect music, root kits (i love this one, since it was sonys attempt at being smart with software, guess something backfired), psp (well not fully yet, but on its way out).
LOL, its sad how you have to compare RFOM to a last gen game. Also atleast sales wise Halo 3 is going to take over November and December (just like when Halo 2 came out) and GTA 4 is going to own October. The only hype Killzone 2 has is that cool Computer Generated trailer, once actual footage is here all that should calm down. Come one Halo has history and an extablished base, the first killzone was a flop. Its like EA coming out and trying to bring back a doomed franchise after showing a ki...
I saw the samething a few weeks ago at walmart, they actually started putting psp stuff into the ps3 display cases here. I admit I see a ton of xbox 360 here but I come another time and there might be 2 consoles left (not sure if people bought them all or they were moved) but the xbox 360 display cases see alot of action because the sales reps are always hanging around there, opening them get people games and bigger accesories
He's too nice for that. Comeon a man throw a pie at him and Bill didn't do anything to get him back not even an angry jesture.
actually this spring with the beta
Its sound to me like they have Xbox 360 dev kits in house and that it will be a time exclusive with the ps3 obviously getting it first. It appears to me that he isn't all that interested in the ps3, saying how ken would get angry.
So a first party developer for sony is bashing microsoft hmm. Lets roll in the peter moore comments on how sony sucks.
I played lotr for the xbox 360, controls are fine after about 30 minutes of play time. I recommened running through the tutorial first, there is a demo on the marketplace to check out too.
Why can't they launch in March, it totally possible, wouldn't be surprised if it moved up to february. But sony exec have poor communication with each other, they always go against each other. You dont see peter moore go agianst J allard or any other ms exec.
If I recall sony also promised Netscape for the ps2 aswell.
IPTV is whats going to put microsoft over the top. Every service provider is going to over the xbox 360 or a set-up box, I wonder what the customer is going to choose. Basically getting an xbox 360 for free while going with lets say a 3 year iptv contract.
Maybe the kid shouldn't have tea bagged him after he ran him over with metermaid car.
The thing with sony is they never announce things like this, they keep hush hush and then their stock takes a hit when they release their financial statement. Like they said 2 million for launch right, then switched it to 1 million on launch day and then what it turned out to be slightly less than 500K units.
