i think it would be wise to wait for more reliable sources... this is using sony for thier numbers, and gamespot for the 360 numbers.

1)he fails to realize that people live a lot longer now... yeah, back in 200 b.c. you were dead at the age of 30, so should be all be retired from our jobs at 20, and living in nursing homes at 22? people live a lot longer than they did even in 1965... and to further accentuate that point, in today's ever advancing society, a person NEEDS to get a higher level of education, at least a 4 year degree, to really succeed in the workplace. so now instead of getting a factory job at 18, adulthood...

for those that have seen the movie... that's not the monster that was in it. that's one of the pictures released to throw people off track before the release of the movie. especially telling is the beatle-like mini monster, that looks NOTHING like the ones in the movie.
could this be the result of stocking up too many for christmas, and now trying to desperately sell them off? or maybe making way for the white ps3s? there has been an official denial of a price drop, it is only at this store, and i can't imagine all best buys have "pallets" of ps3s in store... hopefully this best buy just knows something the rest of us don't.
all we can hope for is that some housewives gloss over the total review scores, which will be affected by all these 1 scores, and decide not to purchase it... then, after this media attention-whore loses all the sales she would have gained because of her anti-video game tirade, things will even out, and hopefully she'll learn her lesson about trying to take advantage of jumping on a bandwagon when she knows nothing about the subject just to get publicity.

make that three, farcry is not a ps3 exclusive according to ubisoft, as this site would have led you to believe this morning,
by 15% drop, they don't mean, if you buy X tv on january 1st for 2000, X tv will be 1700 on december 31st...
what they mean is, if when the newest samsung 40" tv, will all the newest features, debuts on july 20th 2007 at $2000, the newest samsung that debuts on july 20th 2008, with even more new features, will be selling for 1700.
they are not referring to the exact same tvs dropping in price, or going on sale, i think that just goes without saying.

2)wasn't C&C 3, you know, the newest game in the universe this was based on, on 360 and not ps3? if it's for some reason exclusive, it won't be for your ps3.
i was already thinking about buying this game at some point... on eof the highest rated games on live arcade, much better than the frogger type game i was expecting.
i think it's because, at least all the people i know, that own 360's are adults, making their own money, and are not a afraid to spend a lot on games.
you can try your best to spin this, but... this is total sales. hardware, software, accessories... in total, the 360 made up 45% of video game revenue. it's as simple as that. maybe wii owners don't buy games, and the ps3 has underachieved sales wise, but the 360 made up almost half of all video game revenue, compared to 55% from the ps2, ps3 and wii. pretty good, no matter what qualifiers you can throw out there.
you guys realize that "worldwide" includes the U.S., right? or by saying the ps3 outsold the 360 worldwide, do you mean everywhere in the world except the largest gaming market? if so, who cares?
your little cousin needs to have someone else set up his xbox in a well ventilated space. i have 2 360's, one from launch. several friends have their launch 360's since launch. the biggest problem with the 360 is that is not intended for the same 12 and under audience the ps3 is aimed at, the 360 is intended for an audience who can take care of their electronics. also the reason the internet is being overrun by little kids who HATE the 360 with a passion. this is the first game made in the halo universe that isn't part of the core trilogy... i don't think that the same can be said for final fantasy or metal gear's spin offs.
