bill gates is known to the public as a pure video game developer, and the mastermind behind the xbox 360. oh wait, he's not?? he's a backer who's contributions are not as much in the foreground as they should be in the xbox community? oh... so the guy who is more about profits than any other person in the world is alright with LOSING money to further the cause of microsofts video game operations.
good point about the resistance devs though... it takes one hell of a team to m...
you are an idiot.
a while ago bungie said that halo 2 was not as good as halo 1 becuase it was rushed, and not as polished as it could have been. and they said that's why they're taking their time with halo 3. it's just a way to hype up halo 3 for those of us that were disappointed with 2 when compared to 1.
“We Need to be as Good as Halo 2”
At one point in the documentary, a Halo 3 designer makes the statement that “We need to be either as good as Halo 2 or even better.” While we love Halo 2, we do find it interesting that Bungie, internally, has made Halo 2 their “benchmark” and not Halo 1. Why the surprise? Didn’t a Bungie employee recently rant about how much Halo 2’s multiplayer sucked (his words, not ours)? Considering that statement, one would think the developer preferred Halo 1, ...
i think this 28% figure may be off by quite a bit... 35,000,000 is a lot in a country of about 300,000,000... let's say the average household has 4, so let's say there are 75,000,000 households, a generously small number... looks good so far, until you take into account houses like the one my roommates and i are renting for the time being... there is 4 of us, and 6 hd tvs in our house alone...
itagaki definitely loves himself some 360... i wonder if they took out that machine in the original that was an xbox statue, that filled up your life outside of han's bar? itagaki didn't even work on sigma... hopefully his love affair with the 360 continues, and hopefully he feels he really needs to upstage his apprentice that worked on sigma.
what gave you that impression? becuase the ps3 got a remake of the original?
well dj, i guess that custom soundtracks are pointless for you and your kylie minogue songs... but for the rest of us it's pretty cool to listen to whatever music you want.
sony is losing BIG money right now... and not just from their games division. they're still hurting from those exploding laptop batteries, poor decisions in the hd tv market (they're finally getting things straightened out there though)... everyone just says sony should pay square off... well, they just don't have the disposable cash to do such a thing. i wouldn't have thought such a thing was possible for a company of sony's size, but they are in over their heads with all the risks they've...
ninja gaiden sigma isn't coming out until june 26??? man, they are hyping the HELL out of that game... every website i go on they have some new extensive videos and interviews for it... i thought it was coming out like mid april by how hard they're pushing that game...
it doesn't really matter how many DON'T want it to go multiplatform... which seems to be a common misconception of the posters on this site. these polls are to test whether or not there would be a market for exclusive games on other consoles. of course, anyone who throws down $600 on a console is going to want every game to be a ps3 exclusive, but that doesn't affect things. the fact that the japanese want ffxiii to go multiplatform is huge though, because they hate american products... bu...
i love this site, but sometimes they just let ANYTHING on here... some guy in a forum? come on... i'm going to go into that forum and post that final fantasy xiv is coming to the new xboy portable system and watch everyone buy that too.
well, since the ratings in madden are based comparitively on other players, there should be a 100 for the fastest player(s). winning the big game shouldn't have anything to do with a kick returner's individual ratings.
my big problem is that hester isn't even the fastest player in the league. champ bailey and deangelo hall have both run sub-4.2 40 yard dashes, hester has not. hester ran a 4.51 (which he said was becuase of the wrong shoes... even so, if we knock a massive .2 seconds...
for videophiles, yeah, it has begun. for the mainstream consumer, nope, as evidenced by the fact that only around 15% of american househoulds have an hdtv.
there will always be a market for consoles. there will always be parents who just want to buy a console that their kids can play without supervision. you just can't overestimate the importance of accessability, and the ease of which a console can be used.
maybe i'm missing the joke here... but how is this a hint that god of war will come to the the 360?? especially since god of war is either first or second party property of sony?
you expect a little more out of a game that comes out a year later. you expect them to take care of any of the problems that plague the original releases... not a game that is basically the exact same, with a few minor tweaks.
that's fine that you don't like the gameplay, but it doesn't change the fact that no game has impressed graphically like gears has. if one had, then no one would compare everything to gears anymore.
^you two need calm down... he's comparing them GRAPHICALLY... oh, really, they're different kind of games? you figured that out all on your own?? like it or not, gears is the standard for which all games are compared to at the moment. when something surpasses it, that game will be the new standard.
late 2008 in japan, without any delays... that means at the earliest mid-2009 in the u.s... hopefully sooner though, 2 years from now is just crazy...
