that's it? really? what is he missing?
could you please list sony's big games for this year?? everyone on this site keeps saying that, but i can't find any lists anywhere.
MGS4, LBP, Gran Turismo: Prologue, Resistance... what else?
microsoft not only has the publishing rights to the title, but also the in game content... so that most likely won't be happening.
i'll keep my fingers crossed for you though.
dmc4, ninja gaiden 2 in june, and gears in november?? that alone makes this the greatest year of gaming in my life... and i've only played one of them.
this is what i don't understand: what did you expect them to introduce in this game?? you know, besides a new main character who uses a throw mechanic for the first time in the series, and a grappling-hook style puzzle solving tool... this is a SEQUEL. it wasn't titled "Devil May Cry: In a Completely New Direction".
.
has anyone else noticed this extreme amount of secrecy in the video game industry? is there really a reason that a "no comment" had to be given to all 5 questions? it just seems odd that the policy is to keep gamers/consumers in the dark for as long as possible.
who cares if it becomes multiplatform? if that's the best choice for EA, then do it. the only thing that sounds like a sure thing is that both 2 and 3 have been given the greenlight, so we'll get more mass...
blizzard has owned the diablo 3 urls for 6 or 7 years now... and look at how much fun we're all having with diablo 3.
more people will be able to experience mass effect, always a plus.
haha, yeah, i don't really think we need more violence... just trying to make a point though, one persons opinion on "right or wrong" is not THE opinion on right or wrong... just one person's opinion.
yeah, this is more of an american media epidemic than anywhere else i believe... you literally can not watch/listen to mainstream news here other than the weather anymore, without being force fed what they want you to believe. hoping to keep us scared, focused on stupid and pointless issues, and blindly supporting the government so they can have free will to do as they please.
i'm sorry, but you are the reason this happens. who cares if a kid sees it? if he watches anything other than cartoons on nickelodeon, he's going to see that kid of sexual content. it's not like there is actual nudity, this kind of stuff is permitted on regular broadcast tv. now, if some kid saves up $60 hoping to see some side-boob, at least he will learn a little lesson about hard work and rewards.
people need to be free to be creative and original... not making the same ...
they definitely are doing a lot of that already, but there will always be people looking for the quick buck like that. the difference is that right now, there are still a lot of studios developing new and original games... i'm afraid that may stop soon.
everyone, enjoy the next couple of years (if we even get that long...), becuase the video game industry is going to begin a downfall soon. video games have been somewhat unrestricted, due to not being mainstream enough for the "FOX news"es of the world to care. because of that, video game creators have been free to make games that have whatever content they imagine in the game, whatever creative ideas they have. we've gotten the gritty realism of shooters, games that tell storie...
2007 couldn't be the 360's peak, with the insane lineup for this year... 2007 was the peak for the 360, and the entire industry as well, for shooters though. i don't think any genre will have quite the year this year that shooters enjoyed last year.
borderlands is not in the early stages... it was playable last september, and is supposed to be released later this year.
i've heard a few rumors that gearbox is working on the next dead rising... but it's all speculation until something is announced.
are you serious? out of all the 10's of millions of psps, one has caused burns... i guess if that .00000002% chance of that happening to you is just too much, than it's best you just buy some books.
i was actually going to ask if other peoples' psps got hot... i've played mine for almost 3 hours in one sitting and it didn't heat up at all... i've only had it for about a month though, and it's a slim, so maybe the fat psps have an overheating problem.
it's just too hard for microsoft to compete in this japanese dominated market... not only are they faced with japan only supporting their own products, but also americans who will buy japanese products simply because they are japanese. microsoft needs to focus on consoles and see how they are doing by the end of this generation before they decide to enter another tough to break into market.
this is the reason i bought a psp, can't wait.
