It's interesting the author doesn't seem to get that Sony and MS will be hitting the same learning curve very soon. Though all they gotta learn is how to program games for pc's. Nintendo doesn't have it as easy. Specialized hardware that's pretty much souped up using a cutting edge gpu/cpu setup. It's a learning curve for everyone.
It'll take time but... the games thusfar are beautiful. Noone should be dissapointed because nintendo knows aesthetic...

I dunno, I doubt it will ever get mainstreme success but I do see it biting into the profits of microsoft at the very least, maybe ps3. Nintendo should be alright because it'll always have the nintendo first parties.
PS3 and 360 however rely very heavily on third parties. Games that are on pc too. This could just make those superior graphics and mods very accessible. The only question is really on price. Until we get price and spec details, who knows.

In the end we're lucky Sony tried to get control of Nintendo's franchises with the disc system and they dropped em' . Don't forget that nintendo actually came up with the name Play Station. Sony took the name, removed the space, took the snes button layout and made history.
Back in 1942 he took control of Nintendo and lead nintendo up until 2002. IE he lead nintendo all the way through Donkey kong, NES, SNES, N64, and gamecube. Without him Console gaming would have died at atari. He gave the go ahead for sony to make the system that eventually became the playstation. In fact he helped come up with the name Playstation. Just when Nintendo came up with the name it was Play Station(had a space). Even Sony kids should morn this loss.

With the rest i'd finally get a ps3, uncharted 1-3, infamous 1 & 2, GOW 3, MGS 4, Shadow of colossus hd, GTA V and many more. I'll see where i stand after that and maybe upgrade to a 3ds xl
You didn't actually read the review did you. Kotaku rated it a buy and likes it. Admitting it's difficult at the start because 101 doesn't really give much of a tutorial. Which is probably why they unleashed the demo. That way everyone can get the idea before jumping in.
You must be blind if you think that's way better graphics. Look at the grass, the sky, the textures. Not to mention you miss out on all the new features.. IE the one this video is about.

I disagree, psp, vita, and ps3 were pretty much wholy comprised of pointless proprietary technology that artificially inflated the price tag of ownership and served ulterior motives.
