I love games like this. Because it shows the bad reviewers from the good. I think this guy just actually sucks at this game.
3 words say why wii u will inevitably do just fine.
Mario Kart Eight
As much as I love this back and forth.
You can't ignore the fact that psx came before the n64 and had more games by n64's release. You also can't ignore that ps2 came out first and the same thing happened.
Also important to note it was an 100% totally different economy then. 90's everyone was doing great. Same for the ps2 vs GC vs xbox gen.
WII/ps3/360 gen showed people prefer cheaper systems. 3ds vs vita reinforced that as st...
You can focus on it if you want but 3ds was in the same rut at this point in it's life cycle. So you could focus on it if you want. However, I wonder how much you'll want to focus on it when the HD nintendo games hardcore gamers have been asking for since wii's release start hitting the shelves.
Please tell me this will be online with voice chat on wii u. all i see is local co-op hows that gonna work on pc?
The unified profile thing is pretty cool. Wonder if it also means unified online so I can play my wii u game against my buddy with a ps4 or whatever.
It is good knowing the Wii U is the next gen version as should be expected. Better video card better equal better graphics. Only thing wii u lacks really is the processor but that's not as important since theres an secondary processor doing most the legwork on game processing in the video card.
Wait, one part bugs me. Nintendo is actually over 100 years old. Sony showed up in 1946. Why all the exposition about the age of the company being too young when the company you're making it for is significantly younger. Seems strange. Probably sony ponied up some cash is my guess and running a kick starter... probably not a good idea to disclose that stuff.
It's fine Sony needs it more anyway. Nintendo has more than enough indy titles coming.
@skyngy
YEah I will say I have gotten considerable use out of mine now that earthbound came out and also I've gotten back into COD..(though I still suck)
yes, just like I noticed the SNES was nothing more than an upgraded NES. And the ps2 was nothing more than an upgraded version of my psx. And how come my new computer is just an upgraded version of my old computer? Why is progress so confusing?
I can easily EASILY recommend a 3ds. There are TONS of games and i've had it for two years. It keeps getting better. Wii U is honestly tough for me to recommend right now. Not because i doubt it's incoming library. More because right now the game selection is okay and I expect a price cut soon. Either right before ps4/xbone's release or very shortly after.
That said, 3ds is worth the investment. I can think of at least 20 top tier AAA releases worth grabbing. Right ...
Yeah, though you should also not read the article because the title is just hate bait. The article is also poorly written. their entire nintendo discussion is 3 paragraphs and it basically contradicts itself at the end making the first 2 paragraphs pointless. It doesn't even make any good point it just restates things anyone even kinda following game news would already know.
This story should be titled. "wonderful 101, stop offering such a good demo, for once i'm worried about the play limit."
It's funny because all you do to clear the play limit is remove the download, clear the save data for the demo, redownload. Boom another 20. It's less restrictive than iphone demos.
Your bubble score seems directly related to how much people should take you and your opinions seriously. There is fair debate on literally every single one of your points. I mean, "no games (casual or hardcore) 9 months in" is the pretty mu8ch dumbest statement i've ever heard about the system. Earthbound was just rereleased after about 20 years. That's fucking hardcore. It's had COD black ops 2 since day 1 and it's community is still active. MONSTER HUNTER 3 IS NOT ...
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it also has to do with how it's practically a straight port. Which isn't good when the original game was kinda crummy in appearance by today's standards and with more or less ass, outdated gameplay.
Yeah it shocked me how little they explain as they throw you into it. Nothing about how the weight is your block until a certain bass battle. Nothing about how you can increase your power by circling crowds until a mission way in where it's necessary to move on. Almost no indication you can use the right analog to draw your team too. Or even how to use items.
Once you get it.... Holy crap does it feel new and different. Probably one of the first next gen games I've pl...
My sentiments exactly. It feels so new and different it actually takes time to get used to. Once you get it it becomes a really nicely challenging and frantic game. Guess it was just too hard for mn gamer. wonder if he figured out you can use the right analog stick to draw too?
God damn, quite the extensive demo. been playing the heck out of it. Probably the first wii U game I've played where the game play really feels new and different. Shame I only get 20 plays.
SEPTEMBER 15TH
Whenever pratcher needsextra money he bashes nintendo. The good news is whenever pratcher says anything bad about nintendo... nintendo does well. With this and pikmen 3. Maybe we're finally at the turning point for wii u.
Wishful thinking. If you want to play nintendo games, buy a nintendo system. It's gonna be another gen at least before nintendo is broke enough to go multiplat. That said, there's just been no must play games for wii U for a while. The flow of games has finally begun with Pikmen and we're gonna have worthwhile games for the rest of the year, then likely much more going forward. If wii U has bad sales in 2 years when many of nintendo's biggest releases are out. Then people can ...
mirror of fate was also rated pretty poorly. That's why i didn't pick it up.
