Let's just not talk about ps2's first year... no good games until 8 months after it had been released. I don't remember even really being able to justify the purchase until GTA3 came out over a year after I bought it. Loved the crap out of Armored core 2 and Timesplitters though when that fateful october did finally roll around.

Actually the article's justifications are pretty sound and based on gaming history mostly. Basically it's tough to imagine the even ps4 breaking the 3 million hurdle on release. Wii had the biggest release and it was only 2.2 million. It's not impossible, the author seems to just say it's a longshot from hell based on what we learned during previous console cycle.

Good buy, it's the perfect game to give you something to play while you wait for the good WiiU games to finally hit.
Remember how Nintendo said there were more titles to announce that they didn't get to at E3? Activision is likely keeping their mouths shut because nintendo plans to reveal it in a upcoming nintendo direct. Activision is likely agreeing because they know Wii U will have the biggest install base when they drop it and Nintendo direct is the perfect way to make Wii U owners aware of it coming.
vgcharts only does the first 10 weeks of a game for numbers. People seem to still be playing it online. So long term people must still be buying it. It likely will come out for no other reason than it is the next gen console with the biggest install base when ghosts comes out. @pixel I've played six axis and I played mario Kart 8 at best buy, No, it doesn't control anything like six axis because unlike six axis... it actually works. I was easily able to steer and even wiggle the wheel on turns to get drift boost on my first go. Nothing like six axis.... sorry.
What? it's getting good games before the year is out. In the end it's gonna be the console with the most time on the market at the lowest price point next gen. There will be tons of games on the competing consoles you'll also be able to get on pc. Nintendo is the only system that will offer Nintendo games.

Get a job and save the money, it wont take long. Do it while you're not paying for rent and bills. 2-3 weeks you got a wii U. 1 month and you got a nice pot for ps4 when it comes out.

The ultimate part is with this version the boss battles are not outsourced. They are actually redone by the original developers. The boss battles really were a huge complaint about the original and that is kindof a big deal. In addition, there are tweaks to improve the overall interface, features added, and of course. Graphics and framerate improvements. That is what makes it the ultimate version.
What about NFS Most wanted? Looks the best out of all 3 versions. Deus ex, it looks better than PC, the dev states. Must be the combo of convenient touch screen control options too.
