Considering the Switch is literally only 1/6th of the PS4, it is selling fantastically. At this stage of the game, it is all about attatch ratio and growth potential when it comes to Switch. Sales gaps will only close as the install base grows.
Same, but I would still keep my WiiU and games due to rarity. Plus it has some other gems like Xenoblade X and Bayo 3.
Haha, well obviously SS HD would have to be a console experience at home. No other way it could work because the motion controls are worked into the gameplay. They would have to recode the entire game, which defeats the whole purpose of doing a remaster on the first place.
So yeah, they could do it with the motion controls, but it would have to advertised as "dock mode only".
Table top could work, but it would be quite awkward to say the least...
You know Switch has motion controls that are similar to the Wiimote in the joycons right?

Be sure to check my comment history, I am actually an avid Playstation supporter. Had my PS4 since launch, an X1 a year later collecting dust, a WiiU that got attention during a few big releases but not much else.
Right now the Switch is getting most of my attention because the portability is what suits my gaming needs, even if there are a few drawbacks. For what it is, it is a solid system.
It is great no...
This is how physical games should be handled. Single player on the cart and multi downloaded. This way the cart losses no value because you cannot play online without a connection anyway.
He would get a Switch. Portability is a great thing for core gamers, but a godsend for casuals. 😋
I have a PS4, X1, and a Switch. After Final Fantady XV, my Switch has gotten ALL of my attention. Multiplats are more convenient on the go and BotW, Splatoon 2, ARMs, Marrio plus Rabbids, Mario Kart 8, and Mario O alone trump exclusive on the other two consoles this year. Still have Xenoblade 2, DOOM (skipped it last year), and BotW story DLC to look forward to.
So I will say the same thing to u as I say to the person who wrote the article, best game line up is subjectiv...
Look at this guys comment history. He is crying about just about all games, not just Switch games. He is not hating on Switch...he is just a sad miserable individual.
So what is your excuse for Wolfenstein 2 then?
Maybe, but the single player was fantastic, which oddly enough, is where R2 dropped the ball.
The older Mario games influenced the newer one...
In other news, water is wet...
Halo, CoD, Battlefield, all use the same tired formula. Assassin's Creed uses the same formula in its yearly releases. Sports games? Don't get me started.
Either you are a blatant troll or you are just plain oblivious to all things gaming.

Well then that is not as bad. I tool the whole "netflix of gaming" comment to heart. I still prefer physical over digital, but as long as the games are not outright streamed, it is not a big deal.
Sorry for my confusion on the topic.
I want one like Donkey Kong 64
I hope this bombs, no matter what company is doing it. Streaming games is something I never want to become a standard. The more stuff like this fails, the better as far as I am concerned.
Well it is based on the Special Edition, so that comparison to an "older game" is not valid.
The question is, how does the load times stack against the PS4 or X1.
FPS are fine as long a it is a solid 30. 60 is always best though.
Resolution is overrated however. I woukd take a game at 900p with better graphical effects over a game set at 1080p with less. By your logic, Call of Duty at 1080p 60 looks better and is preferable to Uncharted 4 at 30.
Resolution will always be the weakest link, the general public are just too simple minded to realize that fact.
I have a PS4 and an X1, but I choose to buy it for the Switch due to portability. Considering that I do a lot of gaming on the go now, Switch is actually the BEST place to play it.
Who would have thought that people who buy a handheld hybrid choose to play multiplatform games on it because of portability?
