Still no need for an SD card. To be fair, some of the bigger 3rd party games do need one, but you can go a long way without one regardless as those games...
They only rereleased 2 games, pokken and MK8.
Pretty much everything else Nintendo released has been a true exclusive (save for BotW, which was a cross gen release). Give this tired and false argument a rest already.
There is nothing wrong with 30fps for base PS4, X1, and Switch. However I would much rather preder 1080/60 on PSPro and X1X. Res is the most overrated aspect in gaming today IMO.
At the very least give us the option of performance or 4k. I mean it is not like these consoles are not running on 86x, so PC like settings should not be much of a stretch to deliver.
The base PS4 and X1 are not compatible with fp16.
The Switch however is compatible, therefore your argument is null and void in that regard.
The Switch is 3 to 4 times more powerful than the PS3 and 360 (GPU throughput) and has 8 times the memory.
GFLOPS
PS3: 192 GFLOPS
Xbox 360: 240 GFLOPS
Switch (Docked): 393 (FP32) 668-750 GFLOPS (double rate FP16)
RAM
PS3: 256MB XDRAM, 256MB GDDR3
360: 512MB GDDR3 (+10MB eDRAM)
Switch: 4GB LPDDR4
*Realistically, the Switch ca...
UltraNova,
Skyrim was based off of the PS4 and X1 special edition, and a huge step up from the PS360 in both handheld and docked mode. It is also sporting a smooth frame rate. Check DF for proof.
Troll harder
They also were not portable, and the Switch is vastly more powerful than both as the specs are closer to the X1 or PS4 which is already a noticeable difference. PS360 ports are all 1080p/720p so I fail to see what you are getting at.
The whole PS360 argument is perhaps one of the weakest points I have ever heard.
Portability is the selling point for 3rd party games on the Switch. Do what it takes to get these console caliber games running on it. The Switch will have multiplatform games that may look sub HD, but still decent considering it is a portable that you can play on your TV like a console. I still cannot fathom how people are complaining about Xenoblade 2 in handheld mode. Since when has a current gen game of that scale been able to run in a conveniently portable fashion at all? Take it fo...

I think people just see your name and disagree. You and I do not agree on much, but we are on the same page with this comment.
I believe Nintendo should do upgrades with the Switch similar to how they handled the NEW 3DS. Can play all old game, games that can run on old HW will, and games that are coming to the PS5 and the like can go to the Switch 2 only. We would still see sacrifices due to the hybrid nature, but people would still buy for ...

You do realize that all the Japanese VITA support wil be moving to Switch and VITA will be phased out, right?
Every numbered entry is a different story, in a different world, different mechanics, with no connection to the others....
This guy does realize that this is basically the same as saying all JRPGs should just stop for a while, right?
I mean, Final Fantasy 10 and 15 have as much in common as Tales of Zesteria and Legend of Dragoon...and the same applies to all of the games, excluding direct sequels of course (like X-2).
I don't care what resolution it is on portable mode. It still looks great and runs well. It is still Xenoblade on the go. Why should I care about what DF says when in reality the game looks good regardless of the specs?
I play games, not resolutions.
Agreed. With the PS4 line up and Nintendo's 2018 Switch plans revealed in the jan direct will leave my wallet hurting. Good time to be a ganer!
Proof of main character's exact age?
And I never said it was not budget, I said it was hit or miss. And again, if you cannot handle the bad parts, use japanese voices with subtitles.
Xenoblade 2 is the perfect end to my year. Loving it so far, and I can already tell this will keep me busy for some time!
It is sitting on a solid 84 on metacritic, and you want to write it off because a newer site looking for clicks gave it a low score?
I seriously doubt you were ever planning on getting a Switch to begin with, let alone for this game.
If you visit their site, they have that list. That is pretty much all they have done. His point is they are a newer site, inexperienced, and likely looking for hits to boost their traffic as they are trying to gain a following.
Like PSN an XBL have never had their stores down for maintanence...
