The voice acting is hit or miss. It is no where as near bad as people make it out to be, and in some places quite decent. However it does have its fair share of moments where the actors miss their mark and it just sounds way off.
However you can use the Japanese voices with english subs, so there is a way to avoid it completely.
I told people a long time ago P5 was going to be big and make the niche more popular, people called me crazy.
Funny ol world, isn't it?
I would get it. I liked the first Xenosaga but got it in my younger years when I played jrpgs all wrong lol.
(First time I beat Chrono Cross I had the starter weapon for every character till the Isle of the Damned fight 3/4 of the way in, I gimped my FF8 first attempt by making it to disc 4 using only summons because I thought they were cool making it impossible to finish, and got to the end without taking the time to master any ability what so ever in FFIX).

Yeah they both really killed it this year. Why can't people just be happy for both of them?
What they need to do is create a game like Sonic BOOM was SUPPOSED to be before all of the downgrades, rushing, and cut content. That game was nothing but wasted potential IMO.
I dunno about piracy, but I suspect the rise in PC sales to be due to nude mods. ;)
I believe the point he was trying to make was all the 3rd party stuff was available on PS3 anyway. The Switch has offered more games that you can only play on Switch.
Splatoon 2
Mario O
Mario Rabbids
Fire Emblem Warriors
ARMs
Xenoblade 2
Vs
Knack
Killzone Shadowfall
Infamous Second Son
In terms of actual exlusives, Switch destroys by comparison. Thats no...
I played this game in co op with my sister from start to finish and thought it was great. Same with Army of Two.
I can see where RE5 could have been lackluster on SP though, especially considering how bad your ally AI was reported to be. But as a pure co op experience, it was great!.
Well it is all about install base. If people buy it, devs will want to develop for it. It is not rocket science...
DOOM is great on the Switch. I play it all the time and it runs smooth and looks great. Yes the PS4 and X1 versions are better, but the Switch version gives me the full game looming and running great on the go.
Don't kid yourself kid.
@vergilxx3
Well DOOM 2016 runs at a FPS rate all over the place, favoring low twenties in action. Meanwhile the Switch runs a smooth 30 fps with occasional dips when HEAVILY stressed. So why are you trying to use a less effective portable device to argue against the Switch again?

To game on the go with a Switch, you need...a Switch.
To game on a laptop, you need not only the bulky laptop, but also a mouse, (touchpad sucks for gaming) or a controller, a place to set your laptop down, external power supply (performance drops significantly on battery power and gaming drains it faster than many realize, much faster than a Switch as a matter of fact), and more room in your baggage to carry it around.
Yeah sorry but these people try to ...
Gotta say I agree with you. One might say with the implementation of online, trading would be a lot easier so it would not matter anyway.
Though it can also be said that because it is so easy now, that there is no point as well. It just seems like a cheap cashgrab, and would be more obvious than ever before.
3 hours is plenty of time to have a chance to plug it in and charge it. When people game on the go, there are few instances where you would actually surpass that in a single sitting. If you are in a spot where you can play longer than that, odds are there is a spot to plug it into and charge while you are playing.
The Switch is just as versitile on the go as any other dedicated handheld. People seem to forget that and try to blow it all out of proportion without even th...
@Vergilxx3
Yeah, I remember how the PS4 lacked media apps, exclusives of any kind, and many features that the PS3 could do during its first year and a half too.
How quickly people forget. But yeah, I will be sure to play those games for an extra hour and a half on my PS4 at work during my downtime too since it is so much better...oh wait... ;)
Transformers are an alien race that has taken the form of cars and the like to blend in, set in a madern world. Forza Zero Dawn will feature cars built from human technology gone wrong in a post apocalyptic world.
Please pay attention =P
New iteration of racing game, Forza Zero Dawn.
Takes place in a post apocalyptic world where cars now have a mind of their own. You design a car and deveop stats as you upgrade throughout the game, hence being and RPG. Lootboxes will offer premium parts not available elsewhere in the world.
Also in the future, we have Gears of War: Uncharted Territory featuring a quest for a lost treasure to end the threat against humanity and Halo Wars X, because to MS...
@Aceman18
Considering BotW released on Switch at the same time as WiiU, the claim that it is vorrowing from WiiU for that one is reaching. However, it was originally designed for WiiU so I will humor you and not include it on this list...
ARMs is a fun new IP that suprised a lot of people. It still gets free content to this day.
Splatoon 2 is a sequel and Switch exclusive to a new IP, and is a hit. Still gets free content to this day...
Seeing how RE7 is the only thing worth playing in VR right now, that does not say much.
Still it shows the potential of the concept, and I hope to see more good VR experiences down the line.
Says the person who has never played Xenoblade 2.
But yes, I loved FFXV as well. Why can't we just admit that both are great jrpgs and just play the games?
