I do not care what you do, I would never look down on an individual for their preference. I will however continue to campaign against streaming and refuse to use such services, as I never want to see it become mainstream and even have a chance at taking over. It is a masterpiece in its own right TBH. K kwowing that a sequel is inevitable is one of my main reasons for needing a PS5.

Publishers themselves are preventing this from happening. Nvidia already got it right with steam integration and what not, but publishers are pulling their games from being compatible. This is because they want a piece of that pie, and if there is a netflix of gaming, they cannot charge for their own service.
No one is going to want to pay for a bunch of services, and will stay away from streaming for the most part because of that. It is ironic, that publishers own greed...

This is true, but not the point. My point is that a 1 month delay is only small fish in the vast ocean that is fame development. With that in mind, a potential delay could at most be another month or even likely to not happen at all.

That time will come. As I said, it usually takes about 2 years for cross gen to die out. It already happened with PS4 and PS3, why wpuld the PS5 be any different?
No one should be suprised by this. Did uou honestly think devs would just cut off over 100 mil potential consumers to release their games exclusively for platforms that have yet to have the time to grow?

What are you talking about? The X1 was always for Hardcore gamers. The PS4 just did it better.
I do not see a problem with this. I am sure the games will run much better on next gen consoles with PS5 asset patches, and they want something like FFVII Remake to be accessible to as many players as possible. It took 2 years for devs to truly start releasing PS4/X1 only games, as most were cross gen before it. The only difference is that the game will only need to be purchased ONCE to work on both consoles, when it used to be two separate releases.

I think the choices will still be there, but it will not give you a dialogue to select. You will just react and do what you feel you need to do, and thats it. The entire concept was due to hardware limitations when it came to multiple branches, not to be a feature.

Copyright infringement is copyright infringement. I am not hating on the creators, there is a certain fan sequel I would LOVE to make. But I want to see how this plays out first. If they start pulling games with copyrighted characters down, I would prefer not to put a lot of work into something for nothing.
As for my actual point however, every one of these Mario or Sonic games are broken or super clunky. Dreams has much more impressive original projects out there.
By that logic, the PS5 must be DOA due to lack of info as well.
