@Christiano
And you can change your user name for free as many times as you want on Switch without any complications.
Sit down son lmao.
@esherwood
Not saying there isn't. I am just stating a fact that my X1 and 360 controllers fail often, my Playstation controllers have never failed, and my launch joycons are still going strong.
Not sure why this seems to offend some people.
@Father
Your memory must be fading. The only thing the PS3 had that Switch doesn't as far as online gaming goes was messaging. It had no native voice chat for parties (it was up to devs to add it on a software level, same as Switch), it was laggy as all hell, and often went down completely. If your really think the PS3 online was "miles ahead", you are only confirming your own bias.
@A-stil_Tv
Wow so you are saying not everyone experiences controller failure from the same company?
You don't say!
It is definitely a design flaw that is being ignored. It is a shame because normally Nintendo is on point with hardware quality.

Being a hybrid, it is a very capable device. Don't kid yourself. The only point you make is the online...it is ind...
I have had more XBox 1 and 360 controllers drift than any other console. People are only highlighting Nintendo because they are sour about their success.
On a side note, I have never had a PS1, 2, 3 or 4 controller drift. When it comes to quality controller builds, I give Sony the nod.
@--Onilink--
Xenoblade is a 1st party game. Nintendo owns Monolith entirely. By your logic, Sea of Thieves would be a 2nd party MS title.
@phoenixwing
Xenoblade DE is a remake, not a simple remaster. It is using entirely new assets, and I am pretty sure it will outsell Bravely 2 overall.
Xenoblade Definitive Edition and to a much lesser extent Bravely Default 2.
Also on the 3rd party front, Outer Worlds and DOOM Eternal are right around the corner on top of what wqs revealed in the recent direct mini. Not to mention we just got Trials of Mana as well.
There is plenty to play, just not sure what would be in store for Q3 and Q4. Though much like Odyssey and Xenoblade 2, the games could be revealed and released just months later.
Have it on VITA...great game!
Allow us to use any micro SD card we want?
You haters don't even know what to hate anymore. XD
Sales data proves otherwise. The Switch is anything but a dud, with or without China.
Secret of Mana was played too safe, and ended up suffering because of it.
Trials of Mana however took the base game, and changed how you explore the world. You are now in a completely 3D model of the original game with combat that is faithful to the original version yet expanded upon and improved. Everything from the dialog to the plot is the same, but remade instead of reimagined. Post game content that was added takes place AFTER the events of the original game, and do...
The comparison is to Royal though, which is basically P5 with what should have been DLC added and sold at full price. FFVIIR is a new game based on a classic plot/world. For that reason alone, FFVIIR wins this comparison.
Now if it was P5 in general vs FFVIIR, my vote would be P5. However it is not, and Royal is not worth the 60 bucks for someone who already has P5, as the added content should have been DLC instead of a cash grab by making us buy the same game twice.
It's more of a reimagining of a classic game that has its own canon in an alternative FFVII world.
And it is great! There is room in this world for both versions, and neither takes from the other.
The article is about digital sales, hence the use of PSN.
Also it seems for the most part, digital sales are pretty much always factored in when it comes to sales figures from a publisher. Only recording physical sales is so gen 7 at this point.
Oh cool, then yeah. I love Nintendo and my Switch, but they are certainly last to the party with certain features.
For some reason I never knew about button mapping on PS4. Never needed it though, so that could be why I missed it. Thanks for the info.
To my knowledge, it has been software specific. I don't think there is a way to do a change for everything on a system level on PS4 or X1. Have never really needed button mapping though, so not sure.
It was clearly meant for E3, but it seems COVID and work from home as impacted general directs as well. Expect more shadow announcements with close release dates in the near future.
