Who cares at this point. All systems have their own selling point, and the difference between portable gaming and console gaming has pretty much disappeared for the most part. Nintendo offers what they do and people that want it will buy it. Same with XSX and PS5. Anyone who spends their time counting sales is taking things too seriously, and just looks ridiculous.

Not really, you can play the first two as prequels in a sense. It is certainly not a bad way to go if you wanna play them in order. Despite not NEEDING to, it can be more enjoyable due to certain choices carrying over from game to game.
MS did leave Sony and Nintendo behind. They also left the players behind as well, so I guess they just moved on alone in more ways than one.

All the more reason that 4 would likely remain Nintendo exclusive if that be the case. Sega might consider not worth the investment, which would have Nintendo step up once again.

You can have a direct sequel without NEEDING to know what happened in the previous game. It is not hard to do nor is it a hard concept to understand. Hell the developers and official site even state it as a sequel themselves on more than one occasion.

This has been common knowledge for a while now. It is basically a sequel with warriors style battle mechanics in palaces. Unfortunately some people are still too short sighted to see past the musou mechanics and refuse to acknowledge it as such.
Right, which pretty much means we will never see Bayonetta 2 or 3 on other platforms. It is possible that a potential Bayo 4 could be multiplat, but that would still be a loooong way off. Also there is the possibility of Nintendo outright buying the Bayonetta IP if 3 does well.
Basically your best chance would be if Bayo 3 was a smash hit, and Sega decided that they would publish 4 on other consoles instead of leaving it to Nintendo.

Atlus knows the demand for Switch is there, so they need to either just port the games or stfu about it. All they are doing right now is jerking the fanbase around.
I played P5 with remote play on my VITA and tested the phone version. If you are teying to say it is comparable to Switch, you are lying. I have a 1000mps connection and STILL had issues when I was not on the same wifi network. I will take Switch over PS4 remote play any day when it comes to portability, as I actually have tried both ways and call BS on your comment. Even trying to claim otherwise puts a big bias tag in your post, regardless of whether you have both consoles or not.
I have remote play. It cannot compare to running natively, trying to compare the two is a joke at best. If anything it only shows how bitter you are about Switch owners having a portable option.

People seem to forget that the Switch and the PS5/X1S are targeting two completely separate type of gamer. The big difference is that the PS5/X1S have to split their user base, while the Switch has a lock on theirs. It is not hard to see the Switch selling the most due to this fact based on how it is currently selling. The real question is how well will the X1S do, as that will largely cut into the sales of the PS5 if it even reaches 360 levels of success.

Yeah Sony did the same thing with the PS4. Still MUCH faster than what the VITA was able to do with 2.4.

The VITA was only able to use 2.4 wifi. Switch can use 5, so yes it should be much better for solid connections.
Could be that the PS5 will have a knew community app similar to My Nintendo moving forward.
