back when all games had quirks like this... and nobody said anything. Now I find if there is even a little slowdown in a game people are like "THIS IS CRAP WTF!" lol I miss the old days when reviewers didnt even mention glitches unless it made the game unplayable.

I am wicked excited! I remeber playing dead space think that it would be great on the wii but I hate when they jsut port a game over or I dunno, created some kidn of gun rails shooter counterpart. However a survival horror game made for the Wii from the ground up could be really exciting. Is discussion about graphics really aplicable here? I mean there are so many options available for SH games such as prerendered or even painted backgrounds.

I liked the old controls personally, allowed great camera angles and made for some scary zombie encounters. YOu have to apreciate that in the old games the slow lumbering zombies could be so terrifying while i find the las plagas not even a little scary
I don't get why people complain about old resident evil controls... I never thought twice about them and if its those controls that will make hte franchise scary and mysterious again then I am all for it. Also for hte record the camera angles were the best part of re1 and what I miss the most! two analog sticks? can anyone else see that? Am i going crazy!? Otherwise its kind of a terrible design, why can't people figure out that the screen is the part you shoudl protect... not the fricken buttons. If they are gonna overhaul the design they could at least make it more portable as in I am not constantly afraid I am going to scratch my screen
And its getting worse that way. I am personally excited about this game and allthe things complained about actually made me more excited. I feel like in this day in videogames scoring needs to focus quality such as bad program, but stop trying to quantify fun (I had 8.7 fun playing this game due with .3 unfun caused by familiar units and 1 point unfun cuased by havignto learn something lol.

and that has been the standard for kz2 reviews (except the edge one)i.e. g4tv's 5 out of 5. They feel obligated to give it a good score based on...everything, but can't resist bashing it, i think partly because it was very hyped, partly because its on the ps3, partly becasue lets face it: this is kind of a bad time to release an fps. I know i am kind of burnt out on fps's right now although I am still getting it. (i mean --->Resistance 2, Farcry, Fallout 3, L4D, COD5, jebus!)

the mainstream aspect of gaming is actually having a negative effect on the authentic gamers IMO. And its what makes me most upset this generation. Becasue its not ALL gaming that becomes mainstream, its the Wii and Halo that are mainstream aceptable, I see it all the time at school, if girls play wii or frat guys play halo its not geeky but if I play MGS4 it is. And theres nothing wrong with the Wii or Halo, but I hate how more and more games change to reflect those games as a way to earn...
