I know right? "you mean paying someone alot of money to play an online game with me who I don't even know and will never meet in real life is a waste of my money? Thank go d you told me in time!"
I feel like it still sells for a lot over here, wish it was 20 bucks
if you actually beat he game in 5 hours you are some kind of messiah. When you take into account the effect of having to repeat sections after you die its allot longer, at least in my experience.
I rented it because the reviews went on and on about how short it was and i didn't have time to beat it, and had to rent it again, i was so annoyed at all the reviewers
I used stealth all the time in the first one, but your right the enemy awareness is the first was way higher, if there was anything I didn't like about Uncharted 2 was the fact that the enemies had the awareness of the so-called super soldiers in MGS1
sad isn't it? its so venomously filled with his personal anger at the very community he supposed works for "waaaaaah people call me a fat troll because I imply that anyone who doesn't agree with me is a fanboy" -riveting stuff
it is satire, very very poor satire
and if you read them they are both actually promoting the game, except the one written my Jim take some time off try and make fun of PS3 fans
if you like this you should check out the response article by the fabulous Jim sterling called "why cave story is the worst video game ever" where he seriously fails at sarcasm all in a sad pretense to try and justify his chronic trolling by berating PS3 fans for the entire thing.
If you pretend its satire being a blatant fanboy is considered journalism, did you know that.
Jim reminds me a bit of those political pundits who you don't want to agree with you...
I really hope this doesn't mean he isn't making a Twisted Metal reboot. Twisted Metal has been my first purchase on every playstation since PS1, well except this generation of course... so sad
I love my phatty PSP, but I think Sony should think about a new iteration and pull the standard trick where they keep PSP going for like 2 years into the next PSPs life cycle
E3 perhaps, we can dream
Maybe I'm dumb... probably. But how is 3D on the PS3 going to work? Do you need a 3D capable TV? If so, feck! B/C I bought a new LED TV a few months ago, which is awesome, but can I not do 3D?
I have to say I completely disagree. Unfortunately I think its a case the battle-system appears allot more simplistic then it is. It's a real mistake to train the players to use auto-battle first, I personally changed that setting first of all. Then the real complexity comes in established not just effective paradigms but using them effectively.
I finally got the chance, at around 20 hours, to pick and choose my battle team and I use Sazh with Prycons to extend stagger, and li...
I wasn't trying to imply it was a bad thing, was there something about my post that suggested otherwise. I wasn't trying to say "they totally ripped off Uncharted 2!"
Obviously all developers are influenced by each other, constantly improving their games, and I just got this vibe from watching that that reminded me of those set-piece moments from Uncharted 2, which I referred to in the other, almost identical, article. Honestly I think its great and I don't think you ...
But I'll repeat what I said in the previous article
http://n4g.com/NewsCom-4987...
I feel like I am detecting an U2 influence here, anymore else. I might just be imagining it since I have been playing U2 recently.
like I said, i might just be imagining it, so whoever clicked disagree, come off it. And I know development must have overlapped but I think there would have been enough time for them to say "wouldn't it be cool if we did something here like they did in Uncharted" I'm sure these developers pay attention to each other.
Didn't it just feel like some of those set piece's of action and cutsceene blended together which are littered throughout U2 like SPOILERS- the one with...
feel a definite Uncharted 2 influence, maybe its imagined, like when you learn a word and hear it everywhere, but the whole blend of cinematic and game-play. Also, it was on a train.
why would you just have a videocamera filming you play videogames
I used to get really upset about videogmaes sometimes, when I was like 10, then I grew up. Although I think everybody swear from time to time, but smashing your pc screen, I can't even imagine that
I don't think Move patch is trying to get interest from the Wii-market. Whats-his-face over at Quantic Dream stated he wanted some kind of motion control for the device to create immersion, if anything they are targeting a crowd (and no I do not me a hardcore crowd, my GF likes heavy rain, its far from a hardcore game) that has yet to get in on the motion control thing.
HR may not be hardcore, but it is mature, and waggle would not work, if Move is precise enough to allow realis...
because PS Move and the Wii are NOT the same thing, as an owner of the Wii I would seriously hope that the Move has more precision than hte Wii if they patch this game for it.
and it's most certainly a different crowd.
EDIT: I wrote this before any of that rabid argument had begun, which I most certainly don't want to be a part of, this isn't a comment on anything but sidar's original comment.
I have completely forgotten the story of what happens in the first two games completely, like no idea
