whats been with all the negativity towards metroid prime these days? "this is the game metroid prime should have been" no metroid prime is the game metroid prime should have been.
I'm wicked stoked for this game becuase its obviously going to be awesome, but that doesn't negate the awesomeness of metroid prime, and in fact I'd argue that that trilogy allowed us enough time to fully appreciate this project.

I would have agreed with you that I can wait for a PSP-2 but for some reason buying lbp-psp (which is the game I wish had always been out for the PSP, really)on top of getting a Droid I'm stating to actually feel for the first time liek the PSP is older technology.

Two wands would be much preferred, as a Wii owner I must say that the Nun chuck really leaves alot to be desired, its limited motion compared to the wiimote really makes alot of mtion sensing in games fail hard. Just put analog sticks on the those things, which really do look like dildos.

Its very weird that a gaming Mag which is pretty dedicated to games as art and all that would be so harsh on the messiah of arty games. I mean whether or not you like Heavy rain, its hard to deny it aims for the "games as art" category not the "games are for 13 ...
I like it quite a bit, the ground combat isn't broken as much as its just so easy its not even worth trying. the space combat is very entertaining, and can even be challenging. As far as its relation to the star trek universe, I was very surprised at how well I felt like it fit. I think the quests, or as they are called in this game, episodes, work quite well and feel right, and they have even come up with a reasonable justification for the increased fighting than what is in the star trek ...

I suggested this a long time ago but for no reason as specific as you mentioned. The guy sat Penny-arcade made me think when they said (in response to some software errors on the PS3) "that its these incidents which reveal that Sony is at its heart a hardware company just as the RROD reveals that MS is a software company" It just seems to click doesn't it? And with "hardcore" gaming in a significantly less sucseful place than "casual" gaming right now...
