Seriously "cover system" is right up their with "open world" with words I cring when I hear now regarding VGs. Not b/c its bad but its jsut one of those things... every game will eventually have *(i refuse to say it again)*
Now all that matters is how well its done for instance Uncharted and GeOW do it well, i personally think it sucks in gta4, but thats me

That Bungie made Halo 3 look like that on purpose. IMO Halo 3 looks MUCH better on a regualr CRT SD Tv when using composite cable than games like Killzone do. Halo 3 only looks *bad* (bad being a heighly relative term) on HD TVs, which is perfect for people like my Gf's lil brother who love's halo and all my frat friends who also love halo and think 1080p refers to how much alchol is in their vat lol

-Bungie is a great company and not exactly MS puppets if you have stayed up on the nature of the relationship. So I doubt their motives hear to some how hurt the ps3

but I daresay it wouldn't have been the same game. You can tell if you follow MM at all and the flood of awards they have received over LBP that its a a company of a few induviduals (i think i have heard 60) every single one who really contributed to the game on a huge level.
edit: if you disagree please tell me why? You think that LBP would be the same game? What if MM made Fable 2... would it be the same game?

Another cool thing would be a Map or tangible which actually helps you play the game!
But for sure a soundtrack and artbook, if they made it like the press kit of Killzone where the case is an artbook with two or three discs at end it would be awesome!

I mean how often were you really in danger of dying? Like at all? But checkpoints are over done these days. And saving whenever you want creates a weird religion about saving every 3 minutes, Like i did in Oblivion to the point I didn't enjoy it but when i stopped saving alot every now and then I would loose HOURS.... so its hard to say, every game is different, Fable 2 was still fun, for some inexplicable charm that made it fun even without any tangible challange.

I only bought K2 because I had free money (gift cards) I knew it looked great but wasn't sure if I needed another FPS after R2... but I'm so glad it did, it really exceeded my expectations especially in the SP which I though was gonna be fairly standard but was much more (the ending is fantastic!)
I have been playing the MP like its my job and it never gets old IMO b/c it presents a VERY DIFFERENT appraoch than Resistance or Halo.... I could go on all day about that approahc b...
is Insominac one of the best Devs of all time ESPECIALLY this Generation! I mean R:fom R2 RC TOD/QFB now this? Wow, I love these guys!
-I hope that ACIT does with RC what R2 did with R:fom where it goes in a very different direction with the same great core...

I was dissapointed with R2 compared with R:FOM but as I finished it I came to relize I was glad that Insomoniac made it as different as they did b/c to this day I go back and enjoy playing R:FoM (and I wish more other people were still playing the original sometimes)

I agree with (almost) everything you said... and noticed it myself... to name jsut a few of the numerous things you cited which bother me as I also miss the difference between the Chimera...

not many... maybe half but you know what? I have never even played one b/c you can easily search for levels and see how many people have hearted them and when a lvel has over 100,000 hearts its never a heart for heart level.
if anything their are too many good levels considering I can barely get enough people to play my level lol (LittleBigGalaxy <---- try it!)
