Timesplitters 2 didn't have crosshairs unless you pressed the aim button and it was fine. It made it more fast and frenzied.
The graphics are great, and I trust Free Radical with the gameplay, but what amazed me was the sound. The birdsong was really atmospheric, and the guns are brilliantly loud. Then you're left with that tense silence because all the animals were scared away. I think I'll have to pick it up, especially for the four player offline co-op.
Why is it that so many games this generation are shying away from offline multiplayer? It's one of the key things that sets consoles apart from PCs!
Fallout 3? Fable 2?
Yeah, you're right. Stupid people make me laugh and feel better about myself :D
Well I would simply like her to apologise with the same level of publicity as the level with which she attacked the game. I do not know where the quote here comes from, but until we have a televised apology I won't feel satisfied.
I think we all get annoyed about the stigma directed towards video gaming, especially from people who know little about it. Things like this news show really do lower people's opinions of videogames and therefore gamers. When someone attacks videogames like this, it feels like an attack on gamers. You surely must understand that.
Psychonauts.
There is no chance I'm making a top 10 list. I'd have to leave out too many phenomenal, or just plain fun games. I could make a top 20 list full of games that are so good that I'd happily play just one of them for the whole year.
My word you have Prototype surprisingly high! I've been a bit apprehensive about it. Its a new IP from an average developer. They had a few noteworthy games; Simpsons Road Rage, Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Crash of the Titans, but they're nothing special.
I'm not making up my mind seeing as I haven't seen too much information on it. If they bring out a gameplay video I'll have an idea what to expect.
Burtal Legend. The greatest concept EVER. There is no way that this gam...
The game is DULL.
It doesn't matter which sold more, COD4 rules all.
Well i agree with that. I just don't see what that has to do with rights.
You seem to be saying that sony fanboys were owned because Devil May Cry looks almost as good on 360 as on PS3. You don't know what ownage is, do you?
Rights? What rights are you defending?
I didn't enjoy the demo much. I'm getting really tired of DMC's gameplay, which hasn't changed since the original. When I get bored of a game after playing it for 10 minutes, it doesn't warrant a purchase.
I also especially hate the fact that every time I went through a door, there was a mini cutscene to go through. I don't like skipping cutscenes in case I miss something important, but for some reason the entrance of every one of the identical enemies warrants a cutscene. It m...
Oh woe! $2!!
And how much will the macbook cost you? How much will the 3G cost you?
I hate when media exaggerates problems like this.
Not when they can cut him off at will.
Canada is in America.
According to a developer interview I read not too long ago, when the one of the console versions was run internally, it looked so much like the PC version that members of the development team themselves had to physically follow the wire from the monitor to find out which machine was running the game.
The PC version will look better than the console versions, but not significantly.
It would take a very different approach to make a WW1 game work. Trench warfare with just bolt action rifles and heavy machine guns? Very dull compared to WWII's submachine guns and tanks. I could maybe see some sort of RPG working, but I think it would take a pretty brilliant developer to make a good game out of it.
What I wanna see is Vietnam, although that might be too close to modern day warfare to be worth bothering with.
Hell, what I want is a great Warhammer ...
