lol hardly the first tbh
The Dart and Black Monster references got my eyes on LoD.
The game plays just like the original game, it looks great, it's fun... so long as it sells, I don't think we're gonna have a problem.
lol not so
Carrie deserves better, man.
Yes, how dare we help people that might need it or answer questions they might have.
Proprietary means Sony owns it. Meaning the likelihood that they would allow it to appear on other platforms was slim.
I can see why people would quite reasonably think that meant it wasn't releasing on there as a result.
Literally no one I know of ever said that Decima "couldn't work" on PC. It was that it was proprietary.
I'd say it's more stupid because the game was stated to be "first on PS4, PC later" back in 2015.
@Fom Sony is publishing it on console. 505 Games is handling it on PC, however.
It was always only a console exclusive. They announced way back that Kojima's first project was gonna be PS4 then PC.
Why? All they'd need to do is put out an enhancement patch for the PS5 and we good.
This was never meant to be a PS4 exclusive though, they announced a PC port months ago.
...I mean what were they supposed to do? Never release it and just eat an even bigger loss?
I own Odyssey, my guy. It's just not that good of a platformer.
QUITE watered down, too.
Ahahahahaaaa no
Dragon Quest, Ys, the original Xenosaga, Suikoden, Legend of Heroes...
Astro Bot elevated platformers in a way no other game has even attempted to do, and it was FUN to boot.
Both of which are FAR more than I can say for Odyssey.
Astro Bot Rescue Mission.
That game took the genre to a place I didn't even know it could go and was all kinds of adorable.
Also pretty much any Ratchet & Clank game. Mario Sunshine. The Sly Cooper series. Spyro 3.
Odyssey feels so barren and empty by comparison.
My Switch and 3DS are right next to me, my guy, and the GameCube is tied for my favorite console of all time.
But go on about how I've never played it or owned a Nintendo system when I've owned every single one (except the Wii U) since the NES.
"This looks like a tech demo for a new engine."
Which is a bit sad given Horizon was already out on it and was a blast to play.
