Look, I'm not one to buy into conspiracy theories about agenda-driven narratives... but the sheer number of negative articles being tossed at PlayStation lately is bordering on absurd.
Especially with some in the press now acting like PS5 games apparently not running on the PS4 is some sort of recent, controversial thing when starting a new gen.
Days Gone was a great game, Concrete Genie was beautiful, and MediEvil literally impressed the audience it was made for so what's the issue?
I'm sorry, did you just say that Plus, which was giving out free games before it was even an MP requirement, copied Games with Gold, which launched long after?
That depends.
How much do you dislike them?
It's bought me many a PS4 game.
lmao Starkiller is literally a textbook Gary Stu.
The future of gaming is whatever the market decides it is.
P5R actually has more new content than P4G did.
Oh, they're finally copying Remote Play and pretending they're innovating, nice.
Pssst
Those features don't impact performance.
"According to Masayasu Ito, the PS4 Pro was a test case for how to handle a mid-life cycle Pro unit for the PS5 to prolong the life of the family of consoles."
That's... not what was actually said, but ok.
He said that the thinking behind the Pro was that they could catch up to/keep up with current technology not available to them before. That was also with the PS4 releasing in a bit of a performance increase gap.
TL;DR ...
Don't think my eyes could possibly have rolled any harder.
And you don't think that it's reasonable to assume that an award-winning artist with a resume that includes companies like Disney is reputable?
What, are they supposed to peruse his entire catalog and compare it to every piece of animation out there before signing anything? Or is it far more reasonable to place trust in those credentials and then, if that trust is violated, act accordingly?
Which is what they did, and quickly.
Silence over the company already taking action over this and dealing with the director in question who's gone dark online?
I don't see anyone defending Bao.
No, they haven't. The only way Nintendo, with their 11-year head start, surpasses them is when handhelds are counted.
This is home consoles. Period.
The "Z" Version is basically an unrated, "18+" version people can order in Japan that has all the violence and gore present in the American releases. Otherwise, per CERO standards, it has to be toned down.
They did the same with the RE2 Remake there.

That... rather worryingly reads like they're misreading a sales trend of the end of the PS4's lifecycle and the middle of the Switch's life cycle and interpreting it as if they were concurrent launches and competitors.
Really hope that's not the case but it kinda sounds like it.
And frankly? I'd suggest it proves the opposite. The game is SUPER challenging on higher difficulties, challenging on most. It allows for a varying degree of challenge to satisfy the individual, whilst also allowing the story to be experienced. It also encourages replay: keep going until you work your way up the ranks to Grandmaster Difficulty. Or don't. Your choice. Play for comfort.
That being said, it DOES stand to reason that this is a far more important feature...
No, it really doesn't make the story feel hollow. The story is good regardless.
...yes. Having to wait a while to buy a game is being treated like a second class citizen. Totally.
