You remember that, wow! The secondary fire option was sweet.
The original KILLZONE on the KZ2 or KZ3 engine would a beautiful thing indeed.
With the rumored 16gb more affordable PS3 on the horizon, launching this kind of bundle at a competitive price point of $350 the same day Nintendo launches the WiiU would be a major move by Sony.
While the idea to include a $50-$100 voucher does sound more practical, walking out of the store with a Playstation box containing both the PS3 and Vita together is far more attractive to impulse shoppers. Shopper are visual, add in a competitive price point and it would be hard for consumers to stare at this kind of bundle and walk away during the holidays. A great idea most certainly.
MilkMan while I agree with the fact that Japanese gaming as a whole has been a bit stale on many fronts, Kojima Productions continues to be a beacon of hope for the Japanese game developing community.
"Sh!t in a bag and label it MGS" - This is blasphemy! While this is a subjective point, I must express, the MGS series is one of the best series in gaming as it continues to innovate the interactive gaming medium. Hideo Kojima should be completely left out of this conv...
I really hate to regurgitate what has been said about the footage of COD Black Ops Declassified but I am extremely surprised at how bad it looks running on the Vita.
Breadcab I must admit, all the games you mentioned do offer great story narratives. Even though UC3 can be considered an action adventure it does offer a strong 3rd person shooter package.
The original Killzone I believe still offers the overall best story of all the games in the series and I hope Guerrilla can inject this form character development into the experience moving forward with the games already top-notch gunplay action.
After reading many of the comments that believe the Killzone universe needs a better, more compelling story to drive the experience forward, what shooter currently on the market offers such a great story? I'm just curious.
I agree the story needs improvement, I tend to believe Lugar and Hakha need to be re-introduced to add more character chemistry to the experience similar to the original Killzone, but I still would like to know what shooters on the market offer a great...
I beg to differ.....DMC 2 was truly a disappointing title after the greatness of the original. And already this is looking more promising than DMC 4 starring Nero. While I liked Nero as a character, I still believe it was a bad move to make him the lead protagonist in DMC 4 with Dante as a guest star.
Awesome! Can't wait to get my hands on this game.
I've said this before, @ $99 with an intelligent marketing angle, impulse shoppers will eat this system up. The safe bet is not to forget to cater to younglings with appealing platform titles. The bottomline - if the OUYA grabs significant marketshare, early adopters will not have to worry about fresh new titles.
Raziel is a great suggestion :-)
While the intentions of this article probably come from a real sincere place, it wasn't well thought out based on some of the so-called bad trends. As a platform specific site, even though there may be truth to your insight, you can never discredit or tear down a property or personality which is brand specific to the rival platform, specifically the PS3 and Nolan North.
Your site may initially receive hits but readers will more than likely not come back as you can be la...

Lol! Definitely :-)
Certainly an amazing list of games, I may need to rob a bank :-)
Exactly! It's all about marketshare. Regardless of the inevitability of new consoles hitting the scene with unlimited power, price point is a BIG deal.
As Guwapo77 stated "I've seen to many come and go" which is the truth however, if the OUYA can grab a significant and steadily increasing marketshare, publisher will be unable to ignore it's influence.
Possibly, but @ $99 the OUYA will attract the impulse shopper by the droves. Intelligent marketing will be the key. The OUYA has no intentions of stealing marketshare from the big three. It's developed to cater to a different crowd. However, because there are hundred of thousands of gamers intrigued by the idea of creating there own games (see LBP/LBP2) and launching them online for the world to experience, now with financial $$ model that is open, offers unlimited revenue potential.
Very well said!
If I may add my two cents into the Killzone and Halo debate. Ultimately it all comes down to gameplay preference.
Both Halo and Killzone have their major fine points and in my finite opinion and as Angels3785 stated, the Halo franchise is a more established series due to its broadly established brand across multiple games titles and novels. After playing all the games in the series and reading the novels filled with great story and character dynamics which are full of intrigu...
