KZ: Mercenary does play like a dream with an addicting multiplayer mode that is easily the best FPS experience ever on a mobile device. September 10th really can't get here fast enough.
I have to admit, Sony is seriously killing it!
@ happyguy271 - Thankfully you beat me to it as I was just about to address both pete and first whom it seems clearly did not read the article. They obviously took the title and got butthurt assuming the author was trying to steal their thunder. A clear sign of unintelligent fanboyism at its best. Please people don't make comments if you haven't at least tried reading some parts of a given article, it oftentimes makes you look extremely ignorant.
If KZ:SF doesn't offer offline coop no biggy at all, however I am really lookoing forward to a cooperative online campaign experience. I believe it is very necessary since the series has yet to do this. Also, just thinking out loud I'm also curious to whether or not the games new protagonist has any blood relations to Shadow Marshal Lugar from the original Killzone. She and Templar had an obvious relationship. It would be great if GG somehow bridged this new 30year gap with previous ...
Absolutely!!
Playing the demo now - I also received the error update earlier but Sony has apparently remedies the error issue. I would bet it had everything to do with the games demand as I'm sure thousands of users were trying to jump on the demo as soon as the count down hit '0.
Unfortunately Plus members will not have access to the demo today to my understanding. However, I do hope that I am wrong for the sake of all those unfortunate souls who haven't taken the GOW: Ascension retail plunge as the game is epic. According to my Arizona estimations I should have access in 2h:45m:06secs.
I can't wait!
From what I'm hearing FUSE is greatly underwhelming for a studio that has brought us the amazing franchises such as R&C, Resistance and Spyro. I definitely need to give this a playthrough.
Exactly!

This may sound far-fetched but Epic Games is a 3rd party developer so what if Gears of War becomes a multiplatform title available on PS4, do you still purchase an Xbox One for Gears?
Xbox fans please don't hate the messenger, I'm just asking a simple question.

If Nintendo can get their act together and bring some seriously attractive titles to the Wii U this holiday season with an attractive price drop it is not far fetched that the Wii U could seriously put up a fight against the Xbox One for living room dominance. I still believe Xbox One would get the lionshare of the two but you just never know. With expectations that the PS4 will dominate out of the gate, a competitively priced Wii U with loads of exclusives a...
I can certainly understand why many gamer's would still prefer physical copies of games over going digital as there is a sense of security with being able to hold your game in your hand with the peace of mind of not worrying about losing your games due to some type of hack or system failure however, I'm personally not in that majority. While I still enjoy physical copies of games, my physical game purchases have decreased considerably with the amazing offers on Steam and Sony's f...
You are delusional if you think E3 is going anywhere. PAX overshadowing E3 is also another uninformed position. I understand the concern that E3 is a media driven event however, make no mistake about it, E3 continues to draw far more industry excitement than both PAX East and West combined. I would even throw in Comic-Con to make it fair and the sheer amount of press conference updates from manufacturers and publishers including the extraordinary media push of the hottest upcoming games in th...

You make a great point, that would be sweet!

You make a great point about Onlive, their PlayPack subscription is very attractive. However, I find Plus to be much more attractive because new titles are more readily available on a monthly basis while being much more affordable. While Sony does cycle their titles, in the course of a year Plus delivers far more titles. Also, taking into account that Plus will also be receiving the Gaikai treatment across the PS4, becoming a more instant accessible service.
I can see how people can assume the Plus advantage is a rental service because once you don't update your membership those games are no longer available to you however, the value of Plus extends itself well beyond that of a meager rental service and not to be offensive to anyone, but I believe those who take the rental position of Plus are rationalizing it because they don't have a PS3 or have never experienced it.
There are currently 17 or more full games right now t...
Soul Sacrifice, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, Zombie Tycoon II: Brainhov’s Revenge and Deadly Premonition for me tomorrow, can't wait!
It seems obvious the direction Sony has taken the PS3 with new IP's and exclusives this generation has dramatically aided them in grabbing significant marketshare worldwide.
These titles did more than assist the PS3 against inferior multiplatform titles which haunted the system in the early years of the PS3. Without those experiences the PS3 would not be in the position that it is in today, so indeed those 1st and 2nd party AAA and indie exclusives did wonders for the Pl...
Super Cheesy! I loved the concept but the delivery was quite underwhelming - The Isaac Clark engineer uniform was poorly designed while there needed to be more impressive looking necromorphs to build the tension. I did enjoy the sound effects and the atmosphere a great deal.
This new varied approach to combat in Killzone is truly amazing. You're now able to tackle situations from almost anywhere on the battlefield.
