@Corvusmd
We are all entitled to our opinion, but it is really hard to take you serious when you comment on the AI of KZ2 being horrendous. There is no way in world you played KZ2 on a level above normal or even higher and with a straight face make that statement. KZ2's AI is still some of the most challenging period. While many shooters up their difficulty by making you more vulnerable to enemy fire, KZ2 truly makes the enemies more aggressive and intelligent.

Great article!
Not to brag too much but I was a beast in both KZ2 and KZ3 and found both to be crazy fun. Sure, KZ2 has its advantages with clan matches and so on but I'm still playing KZ3 at the moment and loving it still.
By the way a little birdie told me that clans, and customizable lobbies and matches like KZ2 will be back in Shadow Fall. So no more random COD just launch into a match crap, hey, but don't quote me on that. But my source is fairly reliable.
While I can concur with the sentiment of bringing back many of the great gameplay features found in KZ2, there are some KZ3 influences that also need to be added to the Shadow Fall mix as well. For example, sure I to loved the weightiness of the weapons which was also present in KZ3, but it was not as exaggerated for better gun control to which many KZ2 fans attribute to GG trying to offer a more COD experience which was far from the case. So the gun control in KZ3 was aces in my book.
This article presents a very good question. This gen we've seen single player based games adopt multiplayer in an effort to add more meat to their interactive entree however, I don't believe this should be the case with many games. For example games such Uncharted, God of War and The Last of Us which are firmly known for their blockbuster single player campaigns all offer multiplayer experiences of which all are actually very solid, but speaking for myself it is not needed. Sure, I en...
Yes it has, though I would appreciate more in the story department.
@Malokevi
I'm not too familiar with WinRT app and you make it sound pretty awesome, so basically an Xbox One user can have a playlist of enterainment options for their music, movies, tv shows and games? I also remember someone saying it could potentially mean Halo Spartan Assault could be playable on the Xbox One. I'm very curious...
*Update - Malokevi you thoroughly answered my question above, sorry for the redundancy. This sounds like a great addit...
Ok now I can exhale.....Ubisoft please don't ever do something as careless as release a version of a popular upcoming title with the god aweful fidelity of this recent video. It seriously put a bad taste in my mouth of distrust and we really don't want to go down that lane.
He does have Killzone SF on his list, he just spelled the acronym incorrectly. So his list would actually be Watch Dogs and Killzone Shadow Fall if we're being technical of course.
Even though some of the games on your list are not launch titles, this is an awesome list.
When I think launch titles I'm thinking about what's immediately available day one and on that note I would chime in with;
Killzone: SF (most definitely!)
Watch Dogs (Next-gen only)
Assassin's Creed 4: BF
Warframe
BF4
and the honorable mention would go to...COD Ghost
@Kaz no offense my friend but you can't possibly be serious stating that the footage shown in that video is standard gen quality based on the terrifically standard looking games on current consoles. The open world consideration is absolutely no excuse if WD actually looks that bad on 360 and PS3.
Nice!
To someone with a healthy and steady income that $100 difference isn't quite as critical but to the college student saving $100 is heaven, are you kidding. You're right the college student would indeed factor in buying games and with the PS4 option he or she has quickly estimated that for the price of an Xbox One they can buy a PS4 bundled with Watch Dogs, COD Ghost or BF4 or Killzone Shadow Fall have PS+ for a year and download and play DriveClub for free on day one. Oh and cross gam...
Right!
I cannot believe Ubisoft would do such a ridiculously poor development job on current gen consoles. For the moment I refuse to think this was running on the the PS3 or Xbox 360, no way.
Ubisoft talk to us buddy...
Sure multiplatforms are certainly taking the Lions share but you can't ignore the impressive showing for K:SF which is outpacing the Xbox One exclusive bundles in some cases more than 2 to 1. Of course games like RYSE should probably get a pass as it is a new IP, yet still it is what it is. I am actually surprised K:SF bundles are outpacing the Dead Rising 3 bundles more than 2 to 1 - wow!
@SignifiedSix91 - You're definitely entitled to your opinion...
Looking back at the sale of the series and no Killzone title has yet to hit the 5 million mark. I believe KZ2 finally reached the 4 million mark for its lifetime with KZ3 surpassing the 3 million mark with the added digital sales of the multiplayer offering via PSN. But I think you're right assuming Killzone: Shadow Fall has a great shot of reaching 5 million as a launch PS4 title. Not taking anything away from the K:SF of course, but uber popular multiplatform shooters like BF4 and COD: ...
I can understand why so many gamers are grabbing the PS4 at launch but I must say, both platforms offer a great deal to be excited about. I believe as it stands today the PS4 does offer more value objectively but if you can swing getting both eventually, it might be a great investment in the long run.
But then again PSN/PS+ with Sony's robust first party studios is making it brutally hard to find a significant Xbox One advantage for the investment.
