Definitely better than we expected.
@ turgore, I have to agree with you.
The screenshot taken of the ISA prisoner is a cut-scene shot, however, I must note that everything taken from these latest images whether gameplay or cut-scene related are utilizing in game assets. These cut-scenes are no different from playing the real thing.
I'm almost certain that's not Luger but it would be a great addition to bring her back into the action. As a Shadow Marshall/Assassin in the original Killzone, I think she would probably have a much more intimidating and sleek look about her, more reminiscent of her original appearance. We'll see.
I believe the ISA soldier in the images is Capt. Narville. Must've been taken captive during some part of the campaign.
Hakha has retired but it was hinted that he is still involved in the story somehow.
Agreed!! Vudu cost needs to be reduced. At a Redbox cost Vudu movie streaming would more than likely experience a substantial influx of new users overnight.
@ Jdoki
Spoken like a real gamer! Now if only more can adopt this mindset.
Indeed
I am speechless!! The level of detail in the games explosive action is insane.
That's good to know. The 3D update was left out of the podcast and rightfully so. However, based on the interview, game director Seth Luisi mentioned that the game was between 8 to 9 complete out of 10. Regardless, there shouldn't be any delays at this point.
Based on the interview, Zipper is more than 85% complete with the game. Most of what the development team has been implementing lately has been ironing out the game faults and hiccups making it a problem free play-through. You can never have too much polishing.
@ Zir0
If Microsoft lowers their console to let's say $149 or offer a $199 bundle w/ Kinect, this would be great. A more affordable market of consoles is what the market needs right now.
GamingBolt great interview!
Thanks for this update - BRINK is going to be amazing!
If Guerrilla did that then it just wouldn't be KILLZONE. I don't know if you've played the beta but the controls are a leap above KILLZONE 2. I'm certainly a fan of the COD series but I'm of the opinion that it is more satisfying and takes more skill to kill your multiplayer enemy in the KILLZONE universe then the quick and frantic pacing kills of the COD series.
At the end of the day the consumer is the winner, absolutely!
Thanks for pointing that out :-)
@ buffig
I do understand your concern - we used titles that are the most recognized games for their respective platform and by far MAG has received more player attention and consistent updates from Zipper over all the games on our list including ModNation Racers, but there is no denying the sheer amount of fun with ModNation Racers.
A no brainer (Day 1) purchase indeed.
