Sorcery? You know, a full gaming experience. Not a mini-game. If I remember correctly, Kinect doesn't have any of those.
And why does it have to be Move only? How do great games that are Move compatible make the device less valuable? It's a new way to play the kind of games I like to play. What's wrong with that?
What a tease.
Personally, I think the problem is that Nintendo didn't put a release date in their TV spots. I've seen quite a few of them, but not one of them mentioned a release date, or any real information at all.
It's Nintendo, their products are never DOA. (well, rarely anyway -- VirtualBoy *shudder*)
"I had one headless alien still walking around and firing at random things."
What would you shoot at if you were missing a head?
But seriously, good read. I kinda wish you had gone into a little more detail on some things, but I can tell you're just give your honest impressions, and I appreciate that.
There's nothing wrong with the dlc maps. And there never has been. People just don't understand that one is Guerrilla Warfare only, and one is Warzone only.
Now maybe some people wish that the DLC "playlist" included the regular maps, or that there were more options to select playlists, but there isn't a "problem".
And yes, there have been some minor fixes, the most major ones being available day 1.
KZ3 is diff...
Because it would be a really short game?
Oh lighten up, that was funny.
"Gears started the dark colour scheme and everyone copied it."
I stopped reading right there. Surely you don't actually think Gears was the first game do be dark or grey, right?
And guys, he's not saying Gears invented the cover system, he's saying it popularized it. Which is true.
Anyway, screens look great. I'll be impressed if it looks like that on my TV.
That mod looks fantastic. Color me impressed.
You're right (kinda), the touch pad on the back is not a screen. However, there's only 1 of them. My point still stands.
When did the PS3 get a touch screen? Let alone 2 of them.
Maybe, but without the second analogue stick there's not much of a point.
I'm fairly certain that the NYC level in R3 will look nothing like the NYC in other games. The chicago and san francisco levels in R2 should have shown you that, and that was before what happened at the end of that game.
If I'm not mistaken, Crysis's lighting is completely forward. Which is very impressive.
And KZ3's true stereoscopic 3D alone doesn't indicate any advantage over Crytek's engine in 2D gameplay. At best it just says that Guerilla has a better system in place for rendering 3D, or that Crytek just went in another direction with it. Perhaps they just weren't willing to make the sacrifices in order to render the frame twice.
I'm fairly certain it's a pop-in issue. Still a +1 for the PS3, sort of, but the issue should be fixed when the game is installed to the HDD. And given that the PS3 comes with a large mandatory install, it would probably be more fair to do a comparison to an installed version of Crysis 2 on Xbox 360.
Just saying.
The PS3 certainly has more pronounced bloom effects, which I like. However, I can't tell if some of the lighting is entirely different (...
Just wondering, did you play with a wheel or a controller?
Gran Turismo isn't for everyone. Glad you gave it a chance.
Sorry, I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed that the only co-op mode is the single player campaign. There won't be co-op missions like R2.
Because I'm not always at home, and when I am at home, I certainly don't spend all my time playing video games. I have a job and I'm in my last year of college. I'm busy. Reading this article and posting took no more than 5 minutes. It's amazing that you think you know me because my comment wasn't overflowing with joy for a game you want. I didn't say anything negative about the game, and I even said I'm excited to play it.
Here's just a fe...
It's a good way to do cardio, but you won't really gain muscle mass, and thus, won't really boost your metabolism. But it is good for your heart and a fun way to burn calories.
I'm kinda surprised the bike doesn't make too much noise though.
When did they take the weight out of Killzone 3? Last time I played, it was still there. Toned down from KZ2? Sure. But it's not absent, there's still inertia and weight to the movements. At least BFBC2 level, maybe more.
The reason KZ2 sold better than KZ3 is because it was hyped to high heaven. It was the most hyped game for nearly 3 years. And then it disappointed a lot of people. I loved it, but a lot of people didn't.
KZ3 didn't get nearl...
