It feels too much like a retread of the dozens of Ubisoft games, like Assassins Creed, that are released yearly: Tons of filler with little meaning. Nemesis system is pretty fun, but it isn't enough to keep it from that "been there done that" feeling.
Odyssey looks great but Zelda is on the Wii U and Mario Kart is just a Wii U port with a few features.
All I wanted was online co-op and a better spell menu and they couldn't even manage that.
Nah they didn't change the system, the achievements will be something like "Open 1000 loot boxes" and "Get 3 ultimates from one loot box"
Yeah, not buying microtransactions sure worked out well.. it led to them being put into single player games as well.
Not surprised since their bills are paid by the major publishers. Lootboxes are digital gambling, plain and simple. If casinos offered a .05 cent sticker for every losing pull of a slot machine or roll of the dice, would that not be gambling anymore?
So in 2024
5 was the worst in everything.
Even though I really enjoyed the game at the time, why bother simply "remastering" one of the most poorly received Star Ocean games? The combat is really good, but the character models were just plain horrifying; they should have went in and overhauled those while they are at it, cleaned up the story to make it less cringeworthy and hopefully redub it for the West.
Hell, toss in the option for users to use the original models and dub for the few that actually enj...
Yup and the number of people buying games hasn't changed in over a decade... oh wait, your argument is bad.
Eh it doesn't look better if you pay attention to the details. Swimsuits look very low poly, reflections and small details like the nails and hair physics are toned way down and even the body outside of the faces and breasts are definitely lower quality than the PS4 game. That being said, it still looks damn amazing for what claims to be a browser game.
I'm pretty sure its just the PS4 version ported to browsers. Hopefully that still means someone will be able to mod it.
No co-op means three copies not sold across myself and my friends who loved the Saints Row co-op.
Yup if you live next to a shipping center, Gamefly is king. Rented Shadows of War, should be here tomorrow or the day after (because of Columbus Day). Get to play the game and not support publishers who shove in shady loot boxes.
Not my fault you don't have friends to play games with.
Tekken 7 no contest.
This right here. Would have got three copies had it been co-op. Got zero because it wasn't.
What, you aren't excited to play until the escape of Midgar and then seeing a message stating "Please be excited for Episode 2, coming next year!"
Wow, you're telling me people who were given an early copy of a game by a shady publisher gave it a good score? Who would have thought! It's not as if they reviewed it highly because they wanted continued preferential treatment from said shady publisher, right?
Hope co-op gets added soon.
