Yeah Famitsu's review process is pretty decent but the magazine itself is rife with corruption and review-buying.
I think I'm the only person who thought Deadly Premonitions combat was perfectly fine. The only thing I'd consider "bad" is the graphics.
No hero switching during battle? Come on the 3DS game even had it.
Back to one of the other twenty PVP shooters they played prior to this game.
Not to mention teaming up with Nexon. That's like a death knell in and of itself. I avoid anything with their name tied to it like the plague.
What is up with so many Japanese games having "Re:" in the title? At least in this case its punny, but it's usually very tacky.
If they remake Xenogears they should finish the second disc this time.
Seiken Densetsu 3. This is a no-brainer once the Mana remake finishes up.
@EDMIX
Limited saves do not make a game horror or not. The Fatal Frame games are a much scarier than any Resident Evil has ever been, and there are no limited saves. Silent Hill, Dead Space, Siren, Dino Crisis, FEAR, Rule of Rose, Haunting Ground; the list goes on with games that, as far as I remember, didn't have limited saves.
Because publishers had developers focus on graphics over gameplay, because it's easier to sell shiny bullshots and prerendered trailers than it is AI. It's a damn shame that there is still AI in some modern games that isn't even as advanced as the original MGS on PS1.
It was alright up to a point, where it became far too action-focused for me. Resident Evil 4 hit the middle ground between both action and horror near-perfectly, but Resident Evil 5, 6 and Evil Within crossed the line into action too far.
That being said, its only like $5 on Steam right now, and there are mods to remove the horrible letterboxing. It's not so bad that it isn't worth $5
Nintendo's done the same thing. The Wii U was dead for over two years in terms of first-party support and all they've managed for the Switch is two exclusives (Splatoon 2 and ARMS) along with a half-dozen Wii U ports thus far, and only two more known releases (Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade 2) for the rest of the year.
And both MS and Nintendo wonder why Sony continues to sell so much.
When all other smaller publishers from the PS2 era were bought up or killed by various other publishers.
Ports of old games and sports titles. Killer lineup. Big month.
Man this almost makes me wanna cry I'm so happy.
Nah. Played the first, it was alright for a rental... until you get to the final "dungeon" which was a dumpster fire of a finale to a game. I doubt they redid that entire part of the game, and since its mandatory, skip it.
@SolidStateSnake
Nah, the 360 had other great games outside of the main 3 that they pump out yearly, like Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, the first Crackdown, Dead or Alive 4, Saints Row, Kameo, Splosion Man, and a dozen Shmumps if you are into those. Xbox One has... Sunset Overdrive.
Why have both when one has basically no exclusives, neither released or upcoming?
Double the size? So it'll take you two days instead of one?
