Some of the missions were fun. Whats with 2 second missions though? There were at least a couple that were so quick I'd hardly call it a mission. Jumped in one mission last night, 2 minutes later got booted. Got back on, well that was the end of the mission. Also the reusing of assets for quite a few missions was, again, lazy. Taking us through an old strike for a mission. Sending us to EDZ to go to a previously blocked area...
The campaign, while small, was decent tho...
So it's best they just leave Raids left behind each DLC like they did in D1? Not to say I agree with the move but if it's this or flat out leave old Raids behind then I'll take upgrading them to match the max player level every time. While I've never been a fan of them removing content such as strikes during year 1 and their entire process and model sucks but it's what they do. I could write and entire article, perhaps book about problems Bungie creates for itself with Des...
it's a close second. Only because Spiderman. Or is it Days Gone it's behind? Or...? Seriously though, regardless of where it's placed, definitely highly anticipated. It's the perfect step away from InFamous for Sucker Punch...

I think you fail to realize the bigger picture. Gambling is heavily regulated. Part of this bill is to ensure odds aren't tampered with. Which if true, makes this a much bigger problem than it already is. And hopefully another part will be disclosing odds so players know exactly how likely they are to not receive the item they're looking to purchase. Many gambling devices such as Video Poker machines disclose odds. Table games odds are are easily accessible...
the problem is that with a book the reader can sugar coat it or make of it what they will. Only their imagine can perceive what's been written. However, when you see it now it gets real and can be taken offensively. I do agree with you though. It needs to be done unapologetically. Again, I think an issue is being made where in fact there should be none.
that's exactly it. EAs main consumer is your average joe. The person who only plays sports games, primarily sports games, play mainstream games, isn't involved much if any in the gaming community, etc. Over the years they have slowly fed MTs while tweaking their games so their consumers have come to accept them as part of the game. Even if they disagree with or don't like the direction the series has gone to gain extra cash from MTs they still buy, play and enjoy said games. We ma...
I certainly can't recall Activision closing down a popular or known developer. Not to mention they don't have the teams that EA does between Sports, Racing, and other genres. It's possible they have but Visceral was well regarded, known and loved for their work on Dead Space. And EAs excuse for closure was insulting to gamers.
And to add to EAs MT grief. Their sports titles are atrocious but because certain gamers don't play sports games this goes unnoticed...
I'll say this. Opinion should have no place in a games score. The written piece can say whatever you will but the score should be unbiased and based solely on what the game is. Story, Game play, Sound, Graphics, amount of noticeable bugs/glitches. If you want to write, be a "gaming journalist" those should be first and foremost your goals and approach to any game. Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. As a "journalist" people want to know well the game holds up...
If you constantly replay those games you are very likely a minority. Not to say I haven't replayed them because I have went back to some FFs, RPGs and other games in the past. But to constantly replay them is something very few likely do.
Personally I loved XV but I had no intention of purchasing character DLC and continuing to play. Though once I did Platinum XV I definitely wanted more. It was a great game. I have all the time in the world but there's other games...
I've been an avid physical only consumer. Be it music, movie or games. However, the past couple years I have been more open to digital. Even then it's often because of pricing. A game is on sale for a great price so i decide to pick it up digitally. Obviously there are also exceptions like Indie games but even those I wait to see if a physical copy that comes with a disc releases. Not one of these here's a box with a code releases. Aside from these instances I'll take an actua...
I'd say, generally speaking, that [J]RPGs just score lower than any other game. This has been apparent for over 2 decades now. Granted there are some rare exceptions but for the most part RPGs, JRPGs just score low. It's not uncommon for a good-great JRPG to score 5-7.5 with many pointless issues being brought up that RPG fans will love or be accustomed to. In some cases this is easily attributed to the reviewer not being an RPG fan and being heavily biased because of that in their rev...
Recently we've seen more and more games being released between Jan-April. Not sure if it's in part due to scheduling or publishers are becoming more and more afraid to release before or too close to Black Friday. I mean who would want to release a game right before any and all games except CoD go on sale at 50% off. But we've definitely seen a shift with a lot more games being released early in the year, while for the most part, your annual titles hit in the Fall. Then Summer is h...
But with a post Bungie was finally able to provide Content. idk, I think a Live Stream wouldn't have turned out to good. All the bs, side tracking, missing topics/points. Where as posting it saves a ton of time for us players who want to see what's going on and get to the point. Also it gives the illusion they don't have time for a stream because they are busy working on said content/fixes, right?
I will say that based off what they wrote it's a small step ...
I laughed when I saw the box art earlier this year. When I finally watched the trailer, dam this game looks incredibly promising. Hopefully the team delivers with a solid game.
@adamwparker
having recently got back into sports games, a little, after cracking out on The Show this Summer... I bought NHL 18 Young Stars edition and was shocked at just how horrific EAs HUT is. The game is literally balanced to be pay to win. A couple friends who play realized how drastically the balance has shifted between last and this year. Not to mention how they handle cards, add contracts on top of the cards, etc. San Diego Studios does a wonderful job with The S...
@bluefox755 Cable companies haven't? Throttling has happened with cable companies.

It's not just about being able to monetize the internet or exclude particular websites or features of the internet. Without Net Neutrality cable companies can freely throttle their service to your home. Net neutrali...
my exact words lol. BS indeed.
I don't think the passion will die down. Though when the FCC blatantly ignores the commenting period and Americans comments... we continue to have a Government for their own interests and interest groups. What baffles me what kind of misinformation anyone who is against net neutrality has been fed or how much money they have vested in eliminating it.
It's rather sad that this is even an issue again. When you have giants like Google, Apple, etc, plus the process the...
I agree with you that in fact stores advertise deals when in fact they're not. This is known to be true.
However you're example of the 4k UHD on Amazon is a bad example to prove your point.
With the Switch being advertised, that is nothing new. Retailers always advertise the latest consoles even if they're not in sale. Go back to '13 and you'll see the PS4 and X1 months after launch also advertised. Go back even farther, you guessed it...
First was a blast. Never played 2 though so happy both are coming to Switch. And 3!! Always thrilled to have another Platinum Game to play.
