Are games not grand.

that's exactly it. The demo wasn't bad. And I hate saying this as games are for people of all ages but Kirby is a game geared toward the kiddies. Simple and fun. Something I loved as a kid and something I'd love if I were still one. What it lacked was depth and difficulty for an adult gamer. Though it's not like Mario Odyssey was difficult and that was easily one of the best Mario games ever imho. I was kind of looking forward to Kirby but after playing the demo I realized it ...

when PS4 dropped, as always there's speculation already about when the next might release. I always said 2019 at the earliest though most likely 2020-2021. At the same time we never would have imagined a mid gen upgrade in the Pro. Considering the steam PS4 has, PS4 Pro, PS4 pricing, etc. I'd imagine at earliest we'd see an announcement would be 2019 with a release in 2020. I just don't see Sony already dropping a PS5 in 2019. My guess would be 2021 atm but 2020 wouldn't b...

I'm with you there. There's a few games here but all the ports, can care less about. Understandably anyone who only has a Switch or those who portability appeals to will be happy but... to most of us who own a PS4/XB alongside the Switch. We already have played and/or own any of these games that interest us. Personally I bought a Switch for what Nintendo offers. Zelda, Mario, Xenoblade 2, etc. Not for what ports might or might not release on a console that doubles as a portable. In wh...

Delays have been a part of gaming since I can remember. Not just today.

Having said that. Often times we call it a delay when in fact no release date had ever been set. Retailers use place holder dates and that place holder date gets changed and we call it a delay. Sometimes a game is announced with a target year in mind. But this has been happening since the original PS and on all consoles. As for Days Gone, I know Shu mentioned last year it was coming in '18 but outs...

I'd be hard pressed to think most people care about portability. Maybe most people on gaming forums but aside from having analytical data, if Nintendo keeps it, we really don't know. Even so not everyone necessarily cares about portability. Yes it's a great selling point for those considering which version to get & a great additional feature for those looking at a Switch who might be interested in or have the desire for portable play. For me and many others it's a secondar...

Yep a Megaton. In what world though?

Kirby, Octopath, Smash, Mario Tennis and ports. Octopath and maybe Smash are the only two for me. I'll probably play Kirby and if Mario Tennis ever gets a price drop I might pick it up. But all these ports I either own or have no interest in. Except for Dark Souls remastered and I'll likely pick that up PS4 to play on Pro.

I guess if you live under a rock or can only afford one console and it's a Switch t...

The packs included Cards for Diamond Dynasty, Sponsors for [?] and equipment for Road to the Show. Items such as Bats, cleats, gloves, batting gloves, bat tape, sunglasses, rituals, etc; a bunch of different stuff. Having played 1k games of Diamond Dynasty last year and spending some time with Road to the Show it always irked me that they bundled in 3 game modes items into the packs. I suggested splitting them but this is better. Assuming you can still acquire gear for your player or just fla...

yep, it's a massive sector. I've seen varying ranges but apparently
“Anyone born between 1981 and 1996 (ages 22-37 in 2018) will be considered a Millennial, and anyone born from 1997 onward will be part of a new generation,” the Pew Research Center says. Mar 1, 2018

In contrast, being a gen Xer our range is apparently from 1961-1981. Not sure exactly how they determine these things but I've always put little thought or weight behind it. And honestly I t...

from the looks of it, everything on their site is overpriced. Pop Vinyl Figures for $19, Nendoroid figures for $80.

I've fallen out of love w/ Destiny but for the right price I'd definitely like to snag a vinyl ghost. Perhaps even a faction themed one or... but yeah, $30 is ridiculous for a $10-15 vinyl figure.

this is one exception. games releasing late in the year are always available for $30-40 around Black Friday. Because of this I personally try avoiding games later in the year and wait until Black Friday. That is unless it's a game I really want to play and don't have anything I want to play atm. Even then sometimes I'll dig something up to hold me over.

To the point. with Amazon and the internet it really is a bit of a waste to buy games right away. 1-3 months ...

indeed. I remember when WW games were a dime a dozen and the market was over saturated which lead to not only a change in thinking but games like Modern Warfare, Black Ops, and Battlefield 2. Along with the complete removal of the Medal of Honor series.

If you think we're seeing too many video games go back and look at the film industry. There was a TON of WW films dropping in the late 90s to early 2000s. Along with shows like Band of Brothers and it's sequel, The P...

I'm loving Worlds. 310 hours in minus maybe 20 of sitting at the PC. And if I could get XX in English language I'd import it. Shit I've been thinking about importing it anyway but probably won't. I agree, Worlds isn't enough MH for me & Id much rather see XX localized on the Switch.

To Switch only users who can afford it, owning a secondary console isn't a bad thing and while personally I think PS offers more the XB has offerings as well so pair...

the media only covers wars, terrorism, these school shootings, natural disasters, and politics (especially so Politics now that we have a wanna be dictator who is lacking in the mental department for President). I swear this guy needs a competency exam. In a bad mood so imposes steel tariffs? Oh and obviously now that we have 24/7 news many programs leading toward propaganda instead actual journalism/news.

Anyway, aside from the occasional instance I think the media realiz...

No Palico!? what about Daxter? I mean come on. How about Senu from Assassins Creed Origins? Doesn't get any better than a pet eagle you can use like a drone. And as Nintentional stated, where's D-Dog from MGSV. Should have at least made a top 10 to include these animal companions.

I was one of those who immediately ordered the Hong Kong (English) version when this game came out knowing dam well Sony wasn't going to bring it Stateside. Several weeks later Atlus announces they are localizing it. Lol didn't see that coming.

Demon's Souls is a phenomenal game. I went back probably 3 years ago and replayed both the Hong Kong version and the US version back to back. Then proceeded onto Dark Souls & then Dark Souls 2 [PS4]. I was pretty exc...

Yeah I had like 255 hours into it. Still need a few blades but I'm at the end of the game. unfortunately Monster Hunter dropped and well, finishing this has taken a back seat to my 280 hours into Monster Hunter Lol. I'm hoping maybe by the time I get back to it I'll have incentive to pick up the DLC and keep playing because, overall, Xeno 2 is a phenomenal game.

Not sure if I was just lucky but... it often seemed like some of the rare blades were easy to acquire...

The original of any new IP, virtually every time, seems to be phenomenal simply because it's something new. Dead Space 2 and 3 were solid games but especially with 3 I think they were trying too hard to make it something it wasn't or change things for the sake of doing so? Maybe even trying to move the niche horror genre more mainstream? They just took it in a different direction and while it was still good it just didn't work out for the better. Though it was still a solid game in...
