because Mercury is such a big planet. Can we even call Mercury a planet? It's funny because a friend pointed out, he says, "and here I thought the Dreadnaught was small." That was leaps and bounds bigger than Mercury. Yes Destiny, at it's core is great, it's fun, but yet again the biggest issue, content, wasn't addressed and instead we were given what amounts to a free DLC; or perhaps the price should have been halved. Story, weak, Adventures, weak, Forge, cool, Mast...
I'm sure if we looked we could find something MUCH worse. There's a lot of crap that truly deserves to be crapped on and not even made every single year.

"I have no clue what you're talking about but the only game sale that a game should be getting is from a consumer that wants to play it."
that's exactly my point. You grasped it the very first sentence. Yet instead of buying the game they pass because it doesn't have MP, is only single player, has MTs, they rent/gamefly it instead, buy it used, etc. Games, many of them should have better to much better sales. Yes not everyone has di...
Funny how everyone disagrees with this point but... just continues to show that games don't get the sales they should. Granted there is the exception, apparently CoD is one. Generally speaking though, for close to 2 decades A TON of phenomenal games just don't sell like they should. Rentals, used game sales, consumer bias, casual gamers, the mentality that a game has to be online, and what have you.
My question is how the hell, in the past 2 years, 2 CoD games that...
unless it's Suikoden or Castlevania... yeah, probably.
or D2 and it's further expansions. If they'd only admit they don't provide enough content, a sizable world with a decent amount of end game content and so on. I've been saying this for years but... They need to talk to Blizz. Destiny, for lack of a better term is an MMO and needs a substantial base, content, dailies, weeklies and events to keep it interesting and keep gamers playing.
Instead, yet again we got another Vanilla game with DLC that has microscop...
early on EA was great. However it didn't take long for that greatness to fade. I'd say that from the introduction of Madden up until around 2004 EA was great. From that point on they've been nothing less than terrible from their acquisitions and closures to their practices.
If you're old enough to have seen EA from inception up to over a decade afterwards you would see that EA was great and good for gaming. A gaming company working for gamers looking to pus...
yep another lackluster and small DLC to float an already limited and small game. Should we expect anything more from Bungie at this point? truly a shame.
If I recall even Monster Hunter World is going to provide free content yet Destiny continues this milk GaS & release vanilla model. All the while w/o offering a decently sized world or worlds, not much if anything for end game content, no events (the now gimped Iron Banner or Faction Rally need not to apply), continuo...
this game sold incredibly poorly despite praise and instant cult status. It tooks years for the game to move copies. It's poor sales led to Capcom shuttering Clover Studios. Which did lead to Platinum being created I guess, if I recall, so good job gamers for not buying Okami.
Seriously though, this game is phenomenal. I went back to it on PS3 when the first HD was digitally released and it's still a gem. Not sure when I'll get around to it on PS4 but the copy ...
I get what he's saying. Each new FF is a new game. Yes it often retains core elements of the FF world but they're not sequels, they take place in various different realms and worlds, etc. It's a franchise that with each number is a new game, sometimes completely new. Technically speaking we can say it's not a new IP but in it's own right one could argue that his opinion does hold weight. Though unlike a new IP there isn't the associated risk of making a new FF either. ...
I wouldn't say I'm out but I'll definitely wait until the full thing is dropped physically if thats the case. Episodic, no thanks. I don't have time or interest in sitting around waiting for new episodes. I want the full feature.
No concerns here. Other than the fact I might have to wait for one or two due to scheduling. But I really dont care long as Spiderman, GoW, hopefully Days Gone and others drop in 18.
What, no physical in North America? There's goes my excitement.
If it's anything like NHL then it's nothing more than Pay to Win. Pay for the best players and you will dominate anyone.
yeah, because marketing is included this is incredibly misleading. I mean they probably spent a good 30-50 million on each game just in marketing.
the difference is that Team Ico is relatively small. There's a big difference between that and a larger team. Payroll alone would be much smaller even though it took significantly longer.
Yes it was. there was a lot of great games this year though. Neir. Nioh, HZD, Persona 5 and Mario. Of course Zelda was solid. Personally both Neir and HZD were a game above others in my book. From top to bottom HZD was engaging and just a blast. It's truly sad that the game didn't get a single award. Though the VGAs are an utter joke and have been for some time imo. However it is still a big deal and awards for the industry.
Rikamaru in Tenchu Stealth Assassins says something along the lines of "I am the shadow"
But yeah, one major reason it might be a Ninja game is simply based off the Shadow reference. I really don't care what it is though. I'm sold on just that teaser lol
Tenchu Stealth Assassins was a phenomenal game. To this day nothing has replicated what it offered.
That's the quite the teaser though. Honestly I don't care what it is with the work From has done I'll gobble it up and love it. A new Tenchu would be great but so would Bloodborne 2, Demons Souls 2, a new IP. From was rumored to be working on a new IP were they not? Perhaps this is it.
its actually pretty cool. Though any Amazon Alexa device can do what Ghost does. And what is it, like $90-100?
But yeah, after what's continuously happened with Destiny up through D2 and now the first DLC. This ship is 3/4 sunk atm. Bungie needs to pull some major punches for DLC 2 to even hope next year people come back.
