Are games not grand.

I need no info. I'm in for the long run and know Playstation will bring the games over the course of a generation. That is the driving factor as to why I support Playstation. Price, don't care, date, don't care. Lackluster launch window? Sucks but again, don't care as that's been life since as far back as I can remember. For the record that would date back to the Saturn & PS launches which weren't terrible but typical of a launch lineup; imho. I caught the tail end...

Like I said in a previous post. It's a page straight from the playbook of Disney. They release a classic cartoon and only leave it on store shelves for X months then pull it. I'm not sure if they still do that but I know they use to. Nintendo might not re-release this on the Switch but I'd be willing to bet this package get's a re-release on their next console. :D

I don't like the idea but at the same time this also forces me to just buy it instead of w...

still available at Amazon too. That's ebay for ya though. :D It may be limited but I wouldn't be surprised if the game sells 10+ million copies plus digital.

that's my thinking. The game is available until March '21. that's 7 months to buy!! I will admit it's a bit of a Disney move and I dislike the idea but if you want the game you'll have ample time.

At the same time I feel that due to this I've been forced to go ahead and buy it :D soon as I seen this announcement and went to amazon to pre-order because I dont want to miss out. idk that I care about Mario 64 or even Sunshine as I didn't care for i...

and there is in fact where one of my biggest issues lie. I don't like the idea of games being raised to $70 across the board. Especially but not limited to the fact we already have a tiered structure of pricing that allows those with the means or desire to pay more for games. Ranging from $60 base, $80 special and $100-200+ Collector Editions. And that doesn't even take into account all the MTs in so many games. Games may cost more to make but games are selling at a historically high ...

what's anyone releasing this Fall? seriously. Cyber Punk and pretty much nothing else. Another CoD, another AC, another Madden, NHL, FIFA, NBA, etc. For the most part I haven't seen much coming this Fall at all. Though I suppose that's to be expected with Sony and MS entering next gen platforms this Fall. Even launch titles, what do we know about what's even dropping this Fall on PS5 and/or XBX.

Nintendo on the other hand has been on the market for, what, 3 ...

I like how this point seems to be ignored. New controllers have basically been a staple of next gen launches. NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, Wii U, Switch. Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast. XB, XB360, XB1 [?]. PS, PS2, PS3, PS4 and now PS5. It's not just Sony. It's pretty much every, if not every console manufacturer.

I certainly love the PS4 controller but that's life. I'll get use to the PS5 controller just like I did the PS4s. What it is not is anti consumer. ...

while I definitely agree I would add that once this inevitable time arrives, that sometimes taking a break and playing another game/s for 2-8 weeks is often a good solution. If you go back and it's still not doing it for you. Yeah, maybe it's just time to call it quits. But I definitely agree. I play games because I enjoy them. Once that enjoyment stops and the game becomes a burden, a pointless grind, whatever the case may be it's time to step aside. regardless of how much time y...

yep, it takes talented people along with money. Not to mention great ideas, leaders, execution, etc, etc. You can throw 500 million into something and end up coming out with a polished turd. And let's not forget Amazon Games Studios was created what, w/in the past 5 years? It takes time, even with money, for the ball to roll. Even with, hypothetically, all the money in the world thrown at a project it still takes time. Be it 2, 3 or 5+ years. Almost every phenomenal game has taken 3-5 yea...

It is a shame this is a console exclusive for something not called Playstation, Xbox or Nintendo. There's no way I'm paying even $50 just to play Earthworm Jim 4 on a DOA platform. Perhaps that's a good thing though. Sometimes it's best to let memories and nostalgia left unmolested.

Also, not a fan of the bright sun shiny island. I mean it's been what, 30ish years since I played Earthworm Jim but I remember a darker, gritty game. Even the more vibrant l...

:D that was my first thought. Looks like a Nickalodean [I know spelling is way off and idc] Cartoon more than Battletoads. I F'n hate the art style.

It also came on the heels of the RE2 remake; what a year between. If they'd have pushed it back, given it more polish and perhaps even focused on making a next gen compatible/upgraded version and releasing in early '21 I think they'd have done better. 2 cents

yeah the game play, rather, sword play and combat seems to be lacking polish and quality. That's the first thing I thought last week when I saw actual footage. Alpha, Beta footage, doesn't matter that's not something that's likely ot be addressed between now and release. I'm still looking forward to the game and hope it's a solid experience but my expectations have been checked. Like many other games it has potential but at the end of the day I just don't see it ma...

PS, fine, PS2, fine, PS3 (did need to be sent in because it wasn't playing movies/cost $0 out of warranty), 360, fine, PS4, fine, NES fine and still kicking [though I did replace the cart reader 10-15 years ago]. So far Switch, fine, Saturn, fine, Genesis fine. All these consoles held out for the life I owned it along with others. My PS3 was still ticking as of a few weeks ago when I finally put it away. Some other consoles are put away and presumably still working as well.

definitely not clicking on that one. I refuse to visit any site or scroll through page after page on any site that pulls that BS.

side note: how the F can you do only a top 30!!?? That doesn't even leave room for Rise of Honor [PS2], Genji [PS2], Folklore [PS3] and some, rather, many other dam solid exclusives that are deserving to be called out in a Top of list. And those two of those are possibly highly debatable, perhaps obscure titles but I loved them... Crap, I c...

I finally just unplugged my PS3 a couple weeks ago. After getting the Platinum in Ghost I thought dam, maybe a little early. I should go back and Platinum Sly 2 and 3 so I have all Sucker punch games Platinums.

not at all. I still have my NES and a bunch of games. PS, PS2, PS3, and some various other consoles and games. PS3 games becoming collectors items doesn't make me feel old in the slightest. though I wish I'd have kept more of my PS, PS1, PS2 and Gamecube games. I had a bad habit of selling off some eventually because I had far to many.
