to be fair every game is crashing a lot on my PS5. Even Shadows Awakening which I was wrapping up from Wed-Sat when I finally got my PS5 [Wed]. That game would crash at least 5x a night & that game is 2-3 years old, not very demanding & ran on the Pro completely fine. So I don't think Cyberpunk is crashing a lot on PS5s because of itself. Personally I think Sony still needs to iron out their software. But I've also only played these 2 PS4 games so far.

except CDPR has released 3 games. And when it comes to open world games like Cyberpunk. If not a complete mess they always at least have their fair share of bugs. Now I don't say that to imply CDPR is off the hook. They should've known better and done better. If that meant pushing console launches back and releasing it on PC so be it.
anyway. why didn't the people who had PC review codes and the big outlets question why there was no console code for review? I...
I know Witcher 2 had it's issues when it launched on Xbox and they eventually fixed and made some changes to it. I really don't remember how The Witcher 3 was at launch. Checked my trophies and it looks like I started playing it 6 months after release. At that point it was completely fine when I played through it. Not sure if I was busy playing other games or if it's because there were issues so I was holding off.
sounds like 2k got outbid. but no doubt. it's only a matter of time before these franchises see a downward spiral. I don't know that I can name one developer EA bought who have actually benefitted from the kind of resources EA can throw at them to create quality games as good or better than they were making before EA's acquisition of them.
except the game was already revealed, I believe, at E3 '19. there's absolutely no point of showing anything at this point unless you have some game play.
while I agree that's more likely than not a financial hit and risk a company like CDPR can't afford to make. They simply can't afford to lose millions of units in sales by making it PC & next gen only.
At the same time I had planned on holding off until the next gen upgrade is available and I have a PS5 despite having a Pro. I'm pretty sure a vast majority of my friends have been planning to wait until the next gen upgrade is available and they have a PS...
Lol. and isn't the next gen patch not coming until early next year? yeah I get performance enhancements are still there if you play it on next gen but the fact remains....
which won't be possible under EA
I really don't mind. all you have to do is delete it. So far it's just been sales, I think. Actually I think once it was a PS Now ad. Anyway since I rarely jump on the store personally I think it's a nice touch getting the notification. As they are currently using it I have no problem. However if I log on every day and there's a new ad, something else or it becomes more invasive then I will take issue.
I'm glad I bought a Switch but as usual it's a back burner console. It gets broken out maybe 3x a year tops. technologically speaking we all know it's limitations. Sure it's also a handheld but that's something I don't give two F's about and something I will likely never use. We want to talk lacking pizzaazz the Switch does just that. GTFO with that handheld/hybrid BS. Aside from the hyped up Hybrid it offers the Switch has nothing; especially new.
to each their own but I will agree that it's a terrible list. And imo or for me most aren't must haves.
Honestly there wasn't really much for sales this year imo. I read earlier today retail sales were down 20 or 30% in the UK from last year. If their deals & limited availability were like ours I can see why. Seen Death Stranding for $20 at 2 retailers but I don't feel a need to own it and have a handful of games in my backlog. I'd like to play it e...
I seen earlier an update and it showed each of the two people with 2 PS5s so.... hopefully they bought an extra one for their friends. But like online, why isn't there a limit of one per?
I've had my sister working hard trying to secure a PS5 for me while I've also been working on it. If we ended up getting lucky enough to get one I have a friend lined up to buy the second unit. I sleep all day so she's checking every 30 minutes during the day and also tryi...
my bet is coincidence. just a bad console out the box & they happened to be playing CoD. be it not enough thermal paste, a bad component or perhaps something else. Electronics have, what, at best, like a 4-8% [sometimes more] failure rate. Not sure where consoles lie in terms of percentage. I'd put money on it just being coincidence though.
If I recall these stories popped up last gen and probably even the gen before that.
unfortunately I'm one of the many w/o but.... I do remember not liking the DS4 at launch and it taking a little time before I became accustom to it. Even with PS3 @ launch w/ the Six axis and not rumble it was so awkward using those featherweight controllers. After a couple years of using theDS4 when I fired the PS3 back up it was so uncomfortable and weird using the DS3. Anyway, point being it's likely that given a month, two or perhaps even three that it'll be fine. Over time yo...
I love panda bears but not panda colors on cars, controllers or anything else for that matter... The layout of this controller is making it hard for me to pick a color to paint it though. That is whenever I can get my hands on a dam PS5 lol
the problem is they don't have a 1 per household rule. Nor a one per payment method, account, etc. Don't mistake only being able to add one to your cart as a limit of.
the problem is they will because far to many people do and will pay whatever price. That guy with 42 PS5s. At 500$ profit he raked in $21k on those 42 PS5s alone. I've seen plenty of other posts of bot buys ranging from 8 to roughly 29 as well. And when there's that much money to be made and people to spend it we will never curb the issue. At least not when we allow bots and multiple orders.
As others have said I'd like to see ebay and other places ban the sale...
$70 crossed it off my list. It looks interesting but not for $70. I'd have happily paid $60 assuming I got a PS5 in time to still care about playing but.... I was going to argue 40% cheaper but F it. that might be the price I end up paying if I still care to play it whenever I happen to beat the bots and get a PS5.
anyway, no surprise here. The more I saw of this game the more I felt it was lacking.
based off what i've seen from Walmart and bots since launch day. Myself striking out 5x at Walmart alone. Add 10 more times if you consider I also had my sister and dad trying to obtain one for me. don't worry if I got 2 one was going to a friend for retail. Plus striking out price reveal night and the debacle that was....
Personally I think Sony should hold all PS5s for themselves for the remainder of the year. Selling only on PS Direct to PSN accounts that have be...
well Walmart and I believe Amazon were selling it for $50. I picked up a copy at Walmart only because I finally got a PS5 the night before. Thank you Walmart for stocking store shelves finally. Had I not got a PS5 I was going to wait until I got one and/or the next gen upgrade was available. & I have a Pro.
Regardless, there's a lot of games I pick up right away for no dam reason. Just on TLOU2 and Nioh 2 I could've saved $80 had I waited. Both are still sealed...
