Honestly another year and another cod.. I'll buy it second hand if I do. I have been highly critical of cod in the past however I recently picked up black ops (sold it after a day in disgust on the initial release) and have to admit I'm loving it again.
This year I imagine will be different though with so many great games coming out the only reason I'll pick up mw3 will be to play with my friends if they get it.

Personally I feel the price is a bit too high for the average family to spend on a handheld console. Not only this I just don't think nintendo's market is ready for 3d either. Sony was safe by doing what they done as it's a free add on to their console plus far more tech geeks are likely to have the ps3 as their console of choice over a Nintendo one.
Hopefully Nintendo keep supporting the 3ds and some quality games come out.. tales of the abyss i'm especially...

I'd be blown away if they just balanced the game so people didn't just automatically go for the takedown. While I bought both of the UFC games on day of release, I generally regretted it on the same day.

Ffs, "new marketing gimmick best feature we've implemented since our first decent fifa game in years" EA's marketing never changes. If they want to impress how about releasing a fifa that doesn't have game breaking bugs each year and a fully functional online system from day one! Or better yet, remove ingame morale/momentum from the game so that online is a fully fair better play wins scenario.

Huzzah.. found the whole situation Sony was in to be quite ironic considering the motives and all but seeing as I get my ps3 tomorrow, I can't wait for the servers to come back up! I just hope Sony doesn't start playing favourites and brings both the EU and North American servers up at the same time.
Tbh that sort of apology in Japan is the biggest way you can sorry I believe. Now Sony royally screwed up with their security but this is possibly the most degrading and meaningful apology they could have made and I actually would praise them for doing this. You'd never get microsoft execs going that far to apologise and it sure beats "we're sorry for any inconveniences this might cause, we thank you for your patience" BS most companies would give.

Nice idea but I don't like them trying to tempt people with beta codes by buying stuff. All of the codes should be available through doing game related stuff not filling microsoft's pockets. I've got 2 of those things anyway so will be more than enough for me to get a few friends to try.
Quit the damn game and demand a more meaty experience from blizzard in future. Blizzard have literally designed the best cash cow possible. Every expansion they add some new zones funky quests but it's ultimately the EXACT same experience. It really pisses me off that this game is still so popular when lesser known mmo devs try and bring out new refreshing content instead of a bunch of new dungeons for the epic zombie masses out there.
Xbox does 3d too.. I'm having a blast since rebuying black ops playing it in 3d. However you can tell the 3d hasn't been optimised for the 360 as pressing the guide button demonstrates.
Still sony clearly are leading the way for 3d which is one of many reasons why I can't wait to finally get my ps3 this or next month.

By setting standards in the "genre" they're referring to the "milking" genre I presume and by "new standards" they mean breaking sale records I also presume. Anything else standard setting will be purely financial and most likely be nothing more than reasons for Kotick to gloat.
