Well played sony! Good to see them beating xbox in numbers. Always made me chuckle when microsoft boasted that they were winning in terms of consoles sold out of the gamers consoles. So far since buying a 360 4 and a half years ago, i've bought an additional 4 ones due to mine breaking and being out of warranty. I'm sure there are quite a lot of people in the same boat as me too so there console figures mean shit in my eyes.
Wow that's pretty bad if you only get $30 for Crysis 2. Here in England the second hand pricing is fairly competitive. Thanks largely to a certain CEX which offer very good trade in prices plus you can always go in gamestation and pull up cex prices from your phone and get an added quid.

A bad sniper who doesn't know how to play properly. I had far far far more problems with plane abusers easily bombing everything than I ever did with snipers in BF2.
So what.. that's such a small problem. If someone spots him (which they will do when people use teamwork) they call it in and he has a marker over his head for his duration at that camp spot.. problem solved.
That one tiny little problem for prone is insignificant compared to the tactical advantages it brings and the extra added depth to the gameplay.

This tbh.. by widening the appeal of gaming (which does nothing for me personally) it's effecting the amount of good quality exclusives that's coming out on my console of choice.
I'm all down for kinect being popular and introducing new people to the world of gaming but not when it's at the expense of it taking up AAA quality game resources into making craptastic cheap wii clones.
3d is nothing more than a gimmick at the moment.. going by what i've experienced with it in gaming however hot damn, i'd sure like to try battlefield in 3d anyway!
From a sales perspective, I doubt EA even think they stand a shot at coming close to call of duty. While they've spent the last few years trying to build the battlefield franchise on the consoles, I don't think any of them have truly shown the real battlefield gaming experience.. or at least the one I fell in love with 7 or so years ago.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the xperia play doesn't even have a HD screen does it? While in terms of battery life it isn't a great feature but it's a must have for gaming these days.
Quake 3 still holds the crown for me.. and while MW and MW2 came close, nothing will ever compare to the balanced addictive awesomeness that Quake 3 provided.
Nope I sold that after 3 days when I realised that it was exactly that.. a reskinned mod with a few non fancy new features. The current fps games I own and play are MW2, Halo Reach and Bad Company 2.
Probably laughing over a game of Killzone 3 or LBP2 while using Kinect adventures as a beer coaster.
