If Treyarch's game does break mw2's sales records.. I think we would finally have to succumb to the fact that Kotick really is a smart man and that a large majority of people who buy fps games are truly idiotic.
Not trying to say this game is bad before i've played it but i've yet to play a Treyarch COD game that really impressed me. If this game beats mw2's sales, it'd be because it's got the COD name on it.

Well wouldn't you rather good games (like reach) outsell other games of the same genre? Good sales means that all of bungie's hardwork paid off.
I hope it beats mw2..it would show that a game lovingly created by it's developers can outshine some gimmicky crap pooped out the asshole of satan himself.

Halo reach hands down..what does call of doodie have to offer that adds replay value? Does it have a theatre? No! Does it have a detailed map maker? No! Does it have extensive customizable options? No! Only thing going for black ops is it's perks and amount of weapons... not to mention it probably won't even feel like a fully fledged sequel.
Depends what people judge their mp experience on.. I wouldn't doubt that black ops will probably be far more immediately gra...
They'll get laughed out of Japan when they show their uninspiring wii clone games. It might work on some dumb western folk but one thing the Japs have in abundance is quirky imaginative ideas.. when they see how poor kinects lineup is.. they'll laugh harder than they did when they saw the original xbox.
Fanboys claim that people are just finding a reason to hate on SE but lets be honest, we all have a good right to. Long gone are their golden days.. a feature like an 8 hour cap no matter how it works, shows they've clearly lost the bulk of their talented developers. Seems to me like a poorly ill thought out way to discourage the hardcore and also to force people into trying other classes. I for one won't be picking this up until its removed.

Being committed to the hardcore by broadening the appeal, that's quite a contradicting statement considering first and foremost, hardcore gamers subscribe to xbox live to game and the most important thing would be to focus on how to make the gamers experience better.. somehow I doubt that's microsoft's goal.

This was a stupid ban tbh.. this controller just adds two customizable buttons which you could use to remap another button.. eg for halo reach you could use bumper jumper and still be able to use the special abilities... which would be a godsend. However mlg ban it stating it gives people who don't have them an unfair advantage.. well maybe but so does people with astros or top of the line headsets... they get a huge advantage too and an onza controller costs 1/4th of the price of a top q...

Jeez first they are always whinging about piracy now that that is almost stamped out with console games, they're crying about used sales.. even if they banned used sales they'd probably moan about the percentage of each sale going to the console makers.
At the end of the day, this will hurt them more.. retailers will just lower the price further and considering probably 95% of the people who are buying this game won't even check sites like this or realise it has ...
I like how the article completely dodges the one thing which ruined mw2 for me more than anything at all.. aka the noob tube. Noob tube, one man army was the cheesiest combo in the frigging game. O and those pesky thermal scopes which nooby snipers used.. this game is a broken mess..
