I think at the end of the day, the reviewer probably reviewed it based on his impressions. Me nor a hell of a lot of people would ever have said MW2 was a generic seen it all before shooter.. it added so many new things that it took the generic shooter to a whole new level.
This on the other hand looks more like a clone with a few tacked on features to try and woo people with it.
This is going off the fact that I haven't actually played it and from what...
Well isn't that the idea of the demo, to give people a playable advertisement? It seems to be a common thing with EA demos lately letting people down then fans coming out saying the full game is much better. That's on EA to make the demo accurately represent the demo in a way which makes the game appealing to potential buyers.
This review echoes what i've seen and think about the game. While I haven't played it (cheers THQ for a demo!) the youtube footage makes it look so much like cod.. I don't want to replay a reskinned mod with a few new fancy features to try and grab my attention.
How do you know how much I donated? Think before you type please.
Tell you what, how about I find out how much microsoft earns on average in a month, find out what percentage $100,000 is of that and take that percentage out of my monthly income and donate that? Well I would do but unfortunately that's probably less than a penny.
That's pretty bad but the worst part is that they actually put a maximum amount of how much they're prepared to donate for this marketing ploy.. a company with as much money as they do capitalising on one of Japan's greatest tragedies in the last 100 years and donating what is essentially pennies to them is beyond a joke.
Bulletstorm and Marvel vs Capcom 3 are only decent games in your argument the rest are retro or wannabe retro. Both games if I recall came out quite close to each other hence great games are few and far between. You can't exactly compare a side scrolling shooter to killzone 3 can you? Or Pacman (lol) to LBP2.
Still it's nice i've rattled you enough to feel the need to personally insult me. Enjoy pacman and space invaders lol!
Hardly surprising... xbox fans have been starved of good games since the start of the year.. decent ones are few and far between while PS3 owners have already had two AAA quality exclusives out to enjoy.
And that's what i'm worried about with this game.. all the single player mechanics. Everything i've seen from this game has left me with an impression that it's KOTOR 3 coop edition.
Not that that's exactly a bad thing but it almost seems like EA are cashing in by calling this an mmo as so far it really looks nothing like one.
You claim to have played all the battlefields on the PC yet you can't see why I'd think Bad Company 2 was a watered down game? You sir are a moron, I'm done arguing with you.
Lol Venom, the ps3 game will be inferior simple as. It'll still be better than the majority of multiplayer shooters out this year for sure but it's not just the number of players which make it far superior. Graphics don't bother me personally, but community and longevity do. Look at the things mods like Desert Combat done for the original battlefield or Point of Existence did for BF2 or how about that awesome Star Wars mod for the 2142.. these do make an overall difference.
Battlefield is easily twice the game on the PC than it's console counterparts. Any battlefield lover would be more than wise to get it on the PC as they'd know that's where the action is at.
The community, the map sizes, the community mods, the community maps, dedicated servers.. I could go on about why battlefield will be far superior on the PC.
How could any self respecting battlefield lover settle for a watered down version on a console?
I can't speak for ps3 as i'm not sure if their games run dedicated servers but xbox 360 owners are getting a bum deal with their mp gaming and have been pretty much ever since xbox live came out. Their paying for a far inferior service which is available free of charge to pc owners plus pc owners get a lot more through various apps and dedicated server options. Bringing battlefield into the debate is just rubbing salt into the wounds tbh.
Why are Dice being sneaky.. PC gamers are their true fans.. enjoy a pc port for once and just an fyi, if you're a true battlefield fan, you play it on the PC.. nuff said tbh!
The only smartphone I can think of costing this much is an iphone. Sony doesn't have nowhere near as good of a reputation to charge the same sort of price as an iphone. Also as far as I can tell (not really done much checking) this phone doesn't even have a HD screen. So charging a premium price when one of the most major phone features (I personally think) for top of the line phone isn't even included, is beyond absurd.
This phone will fail.
Was looking into getting this but at that price, i'd rather just get a new gaming PC.
How can anyone disagree with this? On a hate scale of 1/10 for kinect i'm an 11 but hell even i'd love to see games on kinect which are good enough to make me want to purchase it.
If this game is so good, why isn't there a demo? THQ are shooting themselves in the foot by not releasing one. From what i've seen it looks just like every other shooter with a twist which ironically is what every new IP is trying to advertise themselves as. If it's so different and bloody special, PROVE IT!
Who cares? I lost interest in this game when one of the developers said it wasn't story focused. This game doesn't look deserving of being called Metal Gear.
Microsoft have tons of new exclusives too.. all you sony tools thinking you got it great, you know nothing!! Kinect sports 2, kinectimals 2, Kinect adventures 2, motion sports 2, kinect joyride 2, dance central 2.. the list goes on!
Hi i'm a microsoft xbox 360 and i'm currently crying.
Well if they gave me more to go on (like a demo) I'd happily give a better opinion but that's not my fault is it? I can only go on what i've got to see on this game.
I want this game to be great I really do but THQ are just shooting themselves in the foot by not releasing a demo. Sure many people here will disagree with this but most of the people looking at the comments are the ones who want this game. How many cod players (the market they're trying to captur...
