I've just preordered Fallout 4 for PC. I also have 900+ games on steam so far so yes I don't buy any PC games...
Wake up Sony fanboy you'll be irrelevant soon :)
It's about as fair as when people compare all console game sales vs PC like they did with GTA5 or CoD.
Not really.
Windows 10 is free and MS don't get anything from PC games sales only from 1st party ones which MS are reluctant to release on PC.
Microsoft aren't going to start supporting PC gaming when their console platform is struggling.
They've been saying they'll start supporting PC gaming again for the last 10-15 years and nothing happened.
I'd rather they stayed away and stopped trying to meddle in something that they've lost touch with since they launched Xbox.
We (PC gamers) got G4WL the last time MS tried to support the PC platform and we all know how th...
There is no Games for Windows service anymore.
If Microsoft tried to start charging PC gamers to play on their non-existant (to date) online games we'd tell them where to go like we did last time.
Windows 10 may be a good thing for Xbox gamers when they realise that one side of the gaming demographic isn't charged for multiplayer access and they are.
It will create a lot of "why?" questions from Xbox gamers that Microsoft wi...
@700p That is correct. We don't play video games we play PC games :)
@MilkMan Well Civilization series does pretty well as a PC exclusive.
The notion that there isn't money in PC as the sole platform is complete bullshit.
The PC platform has many more exclusives than the console combined. They just don't have a multi million dollar marketing campaign behind them like the AAA console games do so go unnoticed by the mainstream games media.
You do realise that XCOM on console sold abysmally and this is on...
Civilization series does pretty well as a PC exclusive. It's just going back to it's original platform as an exclusive.
What's great about this is no one bought the rights to the exclusivity like they do on consoles. The developers chose to be exclusive to PC and I will support that decision by buying XCOM 2 like I did with XCOM.
It's been confirmed as PC exclusive so no you won't pick it up twice unless you buy 2 copies of PC version as it ain't coming to consoles.
The Xbox integration will be going out the Window on my PC :P
Its not in my future!
@exnoob
I'm from UK so yes UK gets it too. I've just got my Windows 10 taskbar icon to reserve my copy :)
You realise that Ryse and Dead Rising 3 weren't published by Microsoft on PC. Crytek and Capcom did.
Microsoft had nothing to do with the PC versions of either game.
Personally Tomb Raider can stay Xbox exclusive for all I care. Let's see how well they do with most of the Tomb Raider fanbase on other platforms (PS + PC).
I'm sure MS and Sony will buy some more exclusives at this year's E3 as well just to piss off the other hal...
Personally I don't think either consoles have any games that makes me want to buy one yet. It's been very lacklustre from both party's.
I'm happy sticking to PC gaming. It has far more exclusives and most of the 3rd party AAA and indie games come to PC anyway.
@tekksin Is that console exclusives or full exclusives?
The PS4 has received most of the recent PC indie games so your total exclusives aren't exclusives if they are...
I got Batman Arkham Knight Premium Edition for £23.75 on PC.
After WB tried to charge £33 just for the season pass as well.
They can kiss my ass :)
Oh you mean games like DayZ, Rust, H1Z1, Star Citizen, ARK, Pillars of Eternity, Wasteland 2, Gal Civ 3, Witcher series, Cities Skylines, CSGO, Killing Floor series, Elite Dangerous, Kerbal Space Program, Subnautica, Total War series, Invisible Inc, 7 Days to Die, ARMA series...
The list goes on and on.
Maybe you should stop insulating yourself with playing just on consoles and experience the vast wealth of PC games that are out there as none of them are F2P ...
Right back at you as Witcher 1 was supported exclusively by PC gamers.
Good luck buying a game that wouldn't have existed without the original game :)
The PC preload was leaked but couldn't be played whereas the console version was unofficially bought and played days before release.
The publisher had to waste time and money to remove and ban many console gamers streaming the game before release on twitch and other streaming services.
Who wasted more money again?
I think the game has a memory leak.
I've noticed the system RAM used increases a lot over time where I have to restart the game to get it running properly again.
Up to 3.5GB+ RAM was being used compared to skyrim + mods which uses 1.6 - 2GB RAM.
So something isn't right.
@_-EDMIX-_ and Ben Dover
I've said this before but you can't have a sequel without the original.
And I don't see The Witcher 1 on consoles.
So which platform made it all possible the consoles or PC?
I agree they needed multiplatform money for Witcher 3 like a lot of games these days but the original game was supported by PC gamers only not console gamers.
Also when it comes to hardware you wouldn...
I'm primarily a PC gamer but I've played RDR and GTA5 on PS3 and sold both after I'd finished them to get my money back and more. I didn't beg for anything!
I do have GTA5 on PC now and would have liked RDR on PC too but you can't have everything.
I wasn't expecting Bloodborne on PC as it's a PS exclusive just like console gamers shouldn't expect XCOM 2 either as it's a PC exclusive.
If you wanted XCOM 2 yo...
