this is good for the PS3 gammers....Now they have some games to play, other then watching blu-ray movies. If only PS3 games were available instead of blu-ray movies they would be all set.

Why would we be screwed, i am not buying a blu-ray player, or PS3 or HD-dvd player or add-on untill there is a clear winner.
You paid $600 for a blu-ray player... who is the smart one. Your really screwed if blu-ray loses or there is a new format that wins. What do you do then. at least with the 360 i wasn't forced to buy it / and push it for sony. just buy a new add on

How many sony fans would really care about blu-ray if it wasn't put into the PS3. Sony could have made a great console if they would have focused on gamming instead of blu-ray. But like sony says, they can sell their console without any games.
We were told that the potential for the PS3 would show at launch. now we have to wait till next year.

$600 for a movie player and you take a chance of having a ton of worthless movies if it never becomes standard. And you put unneeded wear and tear on your expensive machine.
Or you can wait for a winner, The players at this time will be available for $50 and you will be sure your buying a movie format that will be availabe for a long time. No wear and tear on your game machine for movies.
